Unless I'm missing something, that's four defeats in five games for them, and it doesn't look like getting better any time soon. Worst fallow period they've had in my lifetime. Italy with a poor result against Macedonia tonight too, failing to make up ground on England, and they'd surely have been motivated to prove themselves against the side who stopped them going to the World Cup. We're all thinking the same thing...this is an amazing opportunity for a certain underachieving nation to finally get their hands on an international trophy. It makes me appreciate Clarke more and having a side with a discernible system and plan. They look hopeless and I fear a pumping against France. It's been coming for Germany though as they looked in transition at the last Euros.
