Spectre
If The Netherlands don't manage to comeback against France tonight, then that would leave us in control of getting at least pot 2 no matter what. We'd have to win against both Georgia and Norway. I haven't double checked this, but scanning through the groups I'm pretty certain this is true
Caledonian1
It's amazing that Rep of Ireland have managed to find a centre back who is able to make Shane Duffy almost look competent....where did they get that haddy Collins from?

TheScarf
To be fair you aren't getting to a tournament playing a heap of Preston North End and Sheffield United players.

Caledonian1
Exciting finish in Vienna....Belgium were 3-0 up but now 3-2 and Belgium down to 10
Guest
Luxembourg miss an open goal after Iceland send their keeper up. Fannies. Finishes 1-1. Three games left if they win them all (Slovakia H, Bosnia H, Liechtenstein A) then they qualify

Donathan
Ireland go to Netherlands in November and might have an incentive to throw that game. The ROI can’t qualify directly anymore but have a shot to sneak into the playoffs if at least 19 of the 26 teams ranked above them in the Nations League qualify directly. Netherlands are one of these teams but Greece are not. Big ethical issue with this format.

Not sure they nerd to worry about throwing the game, Netherlands should thrash them.

Have they been throwing basically every single game for the last 4 years just to prepare for this one?
Donathan
Hungary are a very good side now. Should be talking about them as dark horses in the same sense as Denmark, Switzerland and ourselves.
