Alloamad
No match thread this week, decided to give the game a miss and watch the Scotland game and have a few beers. How many are we going to put by them? I’m hoping for five

Blue-Toon
Even first half with Peterhead squandering a couple of good chances. Second half Alloa scored with their first attempt on target and we knew what that means. A penalty kick wrapped it up for the visitors and the 2 attempts on target for Alloa versus the zero attempts on target for Peterhead was the story of the match. A 2-0 defeat was harsh on us but if you can’t score goals you can’t win matches.
Kevchenko
Thought Peterhead were the better side in the first half and looked far more organised than the last game at the Recs. Couple of close efforts from corners and probably should have been ahead at halftime. After the break Alloa definitely got on the front foot and rarely looked troubled, but we needed the second goal to kill the game. Nicely struck penalty from Taggs and really good header from LD to get us back down the road ahead of a blockbuster game next week. Good to see both Church and Strachan getting minutes returning from injuries and that we were able to take off LD in the second half to wrap him up in cotton wool for next week. Be interesting to see what the crowd was, with everything going on at Peterhead at the moment and this season in general, the home support should be commended for what looked a respectable turnout, especially with the Scotland game also being on. Tremendous pie as well!
Pie on a Roll
Thought this might be a potential banana skin but glad we came away with the 3 points. Good goal by Donnelly and solid penalty from Taggart as usual. Liked Ricey's comment in his interview regarding ourselves having won 3 in 3 after being asked about the in form Airdrie. Should be a cracker next week.

peternapper
Decent highlights package first goal was better than i thought at the time. We were better in the first half than we have been but losing the 2nd to a pen just summed up how our season has went

They put in a lot of effort in the first half and got no reward. Alloa came out a bit more positive in the second half and you could feel they were going to score and we seemed to tire a bit. Good effort, much improved.
peternapper
With the changes in our line up (badly needed) a few of the guys stating did not have a lot of game time under their belts, hence tired
