Ekhibee88
I had a cup of the Buldak noodles today, habanero and lime , must be a new one. Hot enough to give a kick but still had a great flavour. There was 3x spicy limited edition but was hard to find.

The Naitch
The hot and spicy pizzas from Sainsbury’s have a really good kick to them - that’s about as spicy as I can go these days.
Derek Patterson
Any chilliheads been following the whole Pepper X thing? Allegedly the new "World's Hottest Pepper". The guy won't make any of the actual pods available (feart of folk using the seeds to grown their own is the apparent excuse) but there's a few sauces which contain it. YT channel called Chase The Heat where the boy eats pods, sauces and related spicy stuff. Got a bottle of some sauce which claims to be 91% Pepper X. Says it's absolutely nowhere near as hot as all the claims say it should be. Quite a few folk seem to calling BS on the whole thing.

I suspect if you have any of that you'll end up like this afterwards
The DA
M&S have a new Chicken Tikka Masala with naga chilies. Not over the top but hotter than anything I can remember them doing before.

Steve_Wilkos
A few months ago I was feeling particularly frisky, so I added a jalapeno slice to my cheeseburger!
Derek Patterson
Nowhere near the heat of the likes of the Samyang 2x spicy things but these are class. 35p a packet in B&M. Decent peppery warmth. Good enough on their own but great to add stuff into. They're the soup style so a chopsticks/spoon combo is recommended.

alta-pete
I initially went looking for the Lidl Inferno pizza thread but I think here more appropriate. Can I recommend Aldi's Tomato and Chilli Chutney?A wee tet hotter than you might be expecting. Spoiler
jimbaxters
When over at Christmas, we ordered from Figo's in Glasgow. I got chicken and rice box and went for "medium" level sauce. Genuinely couldn't eat it. I consider myself a medium heat person when it comes to chilli, not a wimp but not like some of you dafties on here so felt medium was the right choice. Raging.

Miguel Sanchez
I'm enjoying these. They're a shade of red that's the sort of blatantly artificial colour you need for this level of heat.

Taken with wine and cheese, each and every one of these banana peppers was a tingling treat. Alas, Simpsons in Inverness stopped stocking them and our world is diminished.
alta-pete
I can't recall if these bad boys have yet featured in here: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2024/06/12/denmark-recalls-south-korean-instant-noodles-too-spicy/ Quote Denmark recalls South Korean instant ramen for being ‘too spicy’ Food agency says the three noodle varieties produced by a brand popular in the West are so hot they pose a risk of ‘acute poisoning’ Our Foreign Staff 12 June 2024 • 12:18pm Related Topics Denmark, Noodle recipes, South Korea, A variety of South Korean instant ramen went viral on TikTok recently Denmark’s food agency has recalled South Korean instant ramen produced by a brand popular in the West, warning noodle lovers that they were so hot they might cause “acute poisoning”. Three Samyang Foods noodle products were assessed to have dangerous levels of capsaicin, the active component of chilli peppers, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration said in a statement on Tuesday. The three products from the Samyang instant ramen line – Buldak 3x Spicy & Hot Chicken, 2x Spicy & Hot Chicken, and Hot Chicken Stew – were being withdrawn from sale in Denmark. The ramen varieties can be found in some British shops. High levels of capsaicin, the active component of chilli peppers, were found in three Samyang noodle products The capsaicin level in a single packet of the noodles was “so high that they pose a risk of the consumer developing acute poisoning”, the Danish body said. “If you have the products, you should discard them, or return them to the store where they were purchased,” the statement added. It urged parents to contact the poison control hotline if their children appeared to show “acute symptoms”. Samyang products are hugely popular across the world, with the company’s operating profit hitting a record high of more than $110 million in 2023. The Samyang ramen varieties can be found in some British shops Samyang Foods said it was the first time the company’s products had been recalled because they were deemed too hot, and added that it would work to better understand local regulations in export markets. “Currently, the products are being exported around the world, but this is the first time they have been recalled for this reason,” a spokesman for the company said. Samyang Foods saw its stock price soar 70 per cent in recent months after its Buldak Carbonara ramen went viral on TikTok, with the product becoming so popular in the United States there have been reports of shortages. Celebrities such as Cardi B have posted stories online about searching for more than 30 minutes to find the flavourful instant noodles.
