Thomas Brown stated on his recent podcast appearance that it was back on the table, and would be discussed over the course of next season.

That's very magnanimous of the man. What a guy.

ps please can someone check I have used word correctly. 😊😊

The whole question of  promotion and relegation for any single league is based on the situation at both top and bottom.  To deny that is unrealistic.Three up , three down would be ideal. The clue is in the word and.

The logjam into SPFL has clearly influenced the discussion over the years within Ll. As any similar arrangement would at any level.

Can we please have a respectful,  adult, conversation on how to move forward.

Will shorten this for everyone.

Protectionism.

The two issues are not in any way connected. You are quite simply wrong when you state that the LL's approach would apply at any level. Check out the EoS premier. Even though there was no guaranteed promotion for their champion into the LL, they will have four clubs promoted into their division this season and will relegate three out of sixteen.

Ok if adult and respectful doesn't do it, out of here.

The Lowland League has been treating the leagues below them like sh!t, are utterly disrespectful to them. There is no excuse not to increase promotion/relegation with tier 6. The "but the SFPL" argument is just nonsense as has rightly been pointed out several times. And to make it worse, they then let 3 absolutely useless B-teams that add precisely nothing but only devalue the league jump the queue and let the genie out of the bottle which could now result in the Conference League.

And the tier 6 leagues are then not respectful enough? Give me a break... 🙄

Aye, but there wouldn't be a pyramid without the LLland and their wonderful clubs.

So they deserve special treatment.

Entitlement anyone.

Footnote: started using LLland as a joke now it's an apt description of the attitude of some way up there in tier 5.

It's almost like ekok's being disingenuous.

I think his views are shared by a lot of Lowland League clubs committee's excluding perhaps likes of Tranent, Boness, Linlithgow and East Stirling. No reason for not having 3 up and 3 down like tier 6 to tier 9/10 has in West and East apart from self preservation.
