welshbairn
Yeah, that money's shite, not even ten grand for making it to round 3 unless you're televised. It's not like Scottish Gas hasn't been robbing us blind the last year.

Jump at the first offer .....................whether it's to the benefit of Scottish fitba or not.
Cardle is Magic
Those in charge of our game think Scottish football is absolutely shite outside of the OF, so therefore are just delighted anyone wants to give them money at all.
Stag Nation
5 hours ago, theoriginalhedge said: I was comparing the prize money with the FA Cup . In England the winners get £2m plus TV money. You would think the SFA could at least try and sell the Scottish cup for around half of that . The SFA winner gets about 17% of the English one. That seems a pretty good deal given the relative audience sizes - maybe 10%?.

Presumably because it was worth more than either Sky or BT ( now TNT Sports) were willing to pay. I don't think they took the first offer in this instance. They jumped at the best financial offer.

The Naitch
Dunbar vs East Fife and maybe Brechin vs Spartans might be of interest to BBC Scotland as well. Watch them go for Kilwinning vs Cowdenbeath

morrison
Interesting that the draw has thrown up the Highland League vs Lowland League promotion playoffs from the past two seasons.

I’d pick Tranent v East Kilbride, the two teams with loadsamoney, well Tranent at least did at the start of the season. Could be a cracking tie.
