Kircer bairn
See the usual limited traffic on this thread. Is there any correlation here with the typical footfall at NDP every time you guys are at home. -

That first comment smacks of a wee club mentality & not sure how you will recover if you don’t make it up this season. Think crowds of 600 will be the exception to the rule going forward but hey you can always reminisce of the good old days when you broke 4 figs

Thanks for the concern though.

The table doesn't lie and we are easily the 2nd best team in the league. However beating Inverness or whoever finishes 2nd bottom of championship will be more challenging. Still fancy our chance though, ever the optimist. We were like that last season easily 2nd best and got absolutely rinsed by Airdrie in the playoffs. It's about hitting form at the right time, Inverness look like they are really struggling I think they'll end up in the playoff spot, for me Queens Park having Paton will ensure they escape.
Reggie Perrin
Even allowing for the fact you have the best squad in the league it was a supremely stupid decision to let Dylan Tait go. The boy is far too good for this division.

Accies fans you are right about Rankin, he’s a clown of a manager. Edited April 6 by Harry Kinnear

Banter aside - Accies fans - the boy is an absolute quality baller who looks perfectly at home in our team.
Accie1
Rumours are he was tapped up and was heading to Falkirk at the end of the season anyway. If that was the case no point keeping him.

Accies fans you are right about Rankin, he’s a clown of a manager. It's been obvious all season that his man management is as poor as his game management. Not the first, and won't be the last player to leave, be driven out or sent on loan when it was obvious they could have been so much more productive if utilised and managed correctly. Always difficult to keep players happy and motivated when you constantly "rotate" your squad, chop and change formations and make pointless subs . Especially when you have created a bloated squad with numerous players that play in the same position. The toxic continued presence of McGowan and his staff at NDP will no doubt have had a negative effect behind the scenes, which a lot of fans recognise will have made his job more difficult than it should be. There is also the issue of the role that "the club supremo " has created for himself. However, Rankin does himself no favours and has never tried to build bridges or connect with the fans following the issues at the end of last season. Few Accies fans would argue that a different manager could have won the league when Falkirk have obviously had a phenomenal season. (Huge congrats btw ) The point has always been, we should be so much better and prepared for the play offs. We have zero confidence Rankin has it in him to get us over the line and we are likely to bottle it and loose meekly. The new owner has stated they will contine to back him and I fear he will be here next season. I have been fully behind much of what the new owner is trying to do (again until McGowan fecks off out of football, this will be difficult) but keeping Rankin after failure in the play offs would be the tipping point for what is left of the support. Almost eerily identical! Except of course when you talk about "get us over the line" we're talking about opposite ends of the table. 2 hours ago, Beckford said: The new owner has stated they will contine to back him and I fear he will be here next season. This part is what QoS fans are dreading. We're going to be under new leadership next season and if they don't get rid of the joker in charge right off the bat then we're fucked.

As much as this is a joke Fulton would genuinely be a good signing for Falkirk given in goals is clearly the weakest area of the Grangemouth Galaticos. He’s out of contract at the end of the season so I suspect he’ll be gone if we don’t get through the play offs. Only negative is he is made of glass.

I’d take him in a second and your correct in that the goalkeeper is the one position we’ve not properly addressed this season although I still think there could potentially be a keeper in Hogarth if he can improve his decision making as he is actually an excellent shot stopper, he’s also at an age where time is on his side.
