Current record EPL win is 9-0. Arsenal could beat that if they can be arsed.

5-0 approaching half time.

What were the half time scores in the above 9-0s?

This Sheffield United team would probably get relegated from the Championship too. Utter dogshit and chock full of jobbers like McBurnie and a load of Irish nobodies.

Man U v Ipswich was 3-0 (16', 24', 37')

Man U v Southampton was 4-0 (18', 24', 25', 39')

Liverpool v Bournemouth was 5-0 (3', 6', 28', 31', 45')

What a shame to see McBurnie in a side this shite.

One of the reasons I hope Arsenal don't ease up, McBurnie.

I think 5-0 is the highest half-time score in the Premier League, been achieved a few times. Others include Man City 5-0 up v Watford in 18 minutes in 2019 and Newcastle 5-0 against Spurs in 21 minutes last April.

Things I didn't realise until now - Arsenal got 5 at home against Sheffield Utd and none of the scorers have scored tonight. None of them even started tonight.

And this is the third home game in a row that Sheffield Utd have shipped 5. Villa had their 5th by the 47th minute.

Stats may say otherwise but I remember that legendary Derby side and I don't think they were as miserable as this. They had some fight and pride at least.

ETA - no, this is the fourth home game in a row they've shipped 5. I forgot about the FA Cup tie v Brighton.

Yeah I can't think of a team that has rolled over as much as this Sheffield United side. Absolutely spineless.

Apparently they've just appointed Mark Clattenburg as a referee analyst. Not sure that's going to help much.

Re this Clattenburg appointment. It was being discussed on radio 5 earlier and the view from the journalist (didn't catch his name) was that although he's been described as an analyst he's currently more being used as a lobbyist and is in place to give more "credibility" to Forest complaints. The discussion was somewhat derailed by Micah Richards struggling to understand what the issues might be but I thought, despite that, it was interesting.

Between being the Premier League's maiden club-specific "referee analyst" and simultaneously the lead referee on Gladiators, I am extremely jealous of Clattenburg. What a combination of utterly ludicrous but fun and no doubt lucrative jobs.

Can the epl not use some sort of dispensation and just relegate Sheffield United just now and not have them play any more games this season as there seems to be no point in them turning up, except for a contractual agreement to do so.
