Red Kite
That is the softest Chelsea side I think I have seen. I have never liked them, but you had to respect them. I feel sorry for Silva, having to play in that side. Hopefully, Bradley's progress continues. Klopp is getting a bit of stick on this thread and you don't have to be a genius to see the lad looks decent, but it's refreshing to see a player coming through the ranks being given a go. Good performance, but move on.

He plays for an unfashionable country so will probably never get the recognition he deserves. If he was Spanish, French or German the English media would be wanting him to get the Ballon d'Or. McCoist was a pain in the arse last night and it really starting to do my dick in. 'I think that's a penalty' for the slightest contact on Nkunku from Van Dijk. Yeah, it's a penalty to Rangers in Scotland Ally, not for anyone else in any other competition.

Most people I read or listen to thought he was the best signing of the summer by far before he got his wee injury.
Musketeer Gripweed
Read that 777 have just loaned Everton yet another £30M, that must be well over £100M they are in to these crooks now. This isn't going to have a happy ending, is it?

DrewDon
Reminder never to eat sandwiches in the presence of a Premier League manager. "Are you going to follow it up with Howard Webb?" is an absolutely superb line of questioning (I have just realised that he is probably referring to the initial decision, but I want to think it was about the sandwich eating debacle). This isn't going to have a happy ending, is it? Their last reported turnover was £181m so that's basically 1/6 of total revenue which looks like a significant lump of cash in that context but the stadium is probably going to cost about £600m+ by the time it's finished so maybe not If Everton can stay up long enough for the revenue from the new stadium to kick in then they'll be fine. If they go down then the current owners take the hit and 777 will still be creditors and want their money back. 777 are basically insulating themselves from most of the risk while remaining in position to get on board for any upside Edited February 1 by topcat(The most tip top)

He did get a lot of praise early on as he settled really well but he did have a bit of a drop off starting around the Luton game at the beginning of November. Probably understandable new country and league etc. And then picked up an injury. Good to see him back will be a big player in the run in. Brilliant last night . Bairnardo
Jamie O'Hara is on SSN just now, and he is eviscerating Chelsea football club. Absolutely hit the nail on the head for me when he said I can't believe they haven't got John Terry in. He needs to be in the dressing room. You have to know what it means to play for a club like Chelsea Football Club

Miguel Sanchez
Speaking as a Chelsea fan, I’m personally really liking the lack of transfer movement during this window. Our owners have treated our football club like it’s a baseball team with their obsession for purchasing and selling players like they’re stocks and shares. This transactional attitude to our playing staff doesn’t work in football though. Football requires a real team ethos whereas in baseball players operate far more individually (albeit in a team environment). Baseball is far more suited to trading players because it doesn’t negatively affect the team ethos in the same way (watch Moneyball to see what I mean). FFP may not be perfect, but it’s seems to be forcing Boehly and Eghbali to limit the wheeler-dealing quite a bit.
