Stirling Albion have a strong presence. Check redweb for some humour and there's a good forum on stirling albion.com. the Albion Rovers website at albionrovers.com is a good site with plenty of chat and all the necessary match reports etc. Peterhead & Montrose good as well. To be honest, most of these sites are done by fans for little or no recompense and we are in their debt for the platform they offer us to exchange our views.

Big up to the Webmasters and Moderators Massive :rolleyes::rolleyes:

The official Stirling site was a sad loss (really liked the interviews with Allan Moore after the games, though that was a good feature). Hopefully the lads will do a good job with the new site.

Montrose and QP are quite good and are well designed. Albion Rovers and Cowden unofficial sites are more homely but really good for up to date news on the clubs.

Stranraer is also ok, but Gretna really need an improvement the official site is quite bland but there may be hope for the unofficial one if the guy can keep it going.

To all site editors keep up the good work, im sure that all supporters of the lower league clubs appreciate the effort put in. The web is ussally the only place that you get decent news on the wee clubs as the papers are ussally only bothered about the OF.

Cheers for the praise guys. As I'm sure Gary, MIF etc will confirm, a lot of work goes into even the simplest of sites, just to get the thing up and running, and then providing content and keeping the whole thing up to date can be an arduous process, and any comments/suggestions from visitos are always welcomed.

As far as official sites go, I always enjoyed reading the Stirling Albion one, and I find the Montrose one quite entertaining. I've also been quite impressed with the Stranraer site on the few occasions I've nipped on for a look.

The best unofficial site, in my opinion is the Albion Rovers one.

Keep up the good work everyone involved in their club's sites :D

I have to say,my favourite one, other than my own,is the Stranraer one. However, this is closely followed by Peterhead's. B)

MIF i owe you a drink! It'll be there for you in March ;)

Have to say that The Stirling Albion site has come out of nowhere and is one of, if not the best site in the lower two divisions. Peterhead is also well up there, as (and it pains me to say this) is Montrose's <_< . The better sites in my opinions are the ones that are up to date with recent info and have a decent forum on them, free or otherwise.

Its a shame that clubs like Gretna and East Stirling don't have any decent onlin presence because that knocks nearly a quarter of league banter on the head but very rarely the occasional ES fan pops up on the boards on other sites, as for Gretna......

ES-Have a forum on intheteam site and Gretna now have a footy mad site with a couple of regulars. It's not the same, but it's better than last season.

PS.I'm going to miss the match in March, due to me being on holiday! If it gets cancelled or something, then I'll need to hold you to that drink then. However,I could wait till next season if we're both in the 2nd division. B)
