Could it not have been played on the Friday night or the Sunday at Fort William?

800 runners will be using the pitch on the Saturday, don’t fancy playing on that on the Sunday. Friday would mean players staff and supporters all needing to take time off work ( if their employer allows)

We were given option of playing at 8pm on Saturday. It's a piece of nonsense but I fear we'll just need to suck it up if SFA sanction it

Why the hell should we just suck it up surely the board should be fighting this all the way

This cements Fort William's status as Scotland's premier tinpot outfit, and their shite should not be getting entertained at such close proximity to the date of the game. the venue should now be a straight switcheroo to Holmy with FW considering themselves lucky to not be booted out.  Ben Nevis that ya teuchter b*****ds.

It cant go to HP under the rules but they've not covered themselves in glory with this. Hopefully we can go and do a professional job,

Huge sympathy to Clydebank here , they are being penalised for something that’s not in any way their fault , seen someone said earlier they could refuse and forfeit . A horrible idea but if they did it just may show this decision up for being the terrible one that it is. Not a Clydebank fan but really want them to thump Fort William heavily if it goes ahead.

I sincerely hope that Fort William do not include the cost of hiring the ground as part of the deductible expenses before splitting the gate money.

Be funny if everyone just went up in buses and watched the game from outside the environs of the ground looks like its doable with lower walls around the park and cost them a fortune if they do have to hire the park and pay for refs etc.

On the plus side, the ground in Golspie is about 300 yards away from a banging chippy to 'settle' the bellies before the drive back home. Hopefully they don't bump Golspie for the ground hire when they don't get the crowd they expected

Ah The Trawler, back when I was working in Orkney. Would race down the A9 after departing the ferry to get to it before it closed.

In my top 5 Chippy's.
