19QOS19
No Ambrose or Cochrane is a bit concerning. Chance for McKay to keep him out and for Fergusson to try and remain in the side. Stone starting as expected.
broomiesniper
Looks like we’ll be playing with better width today. Good to see Liam back and fit enough for the bench

bod
Very surprised by our starting line up, Efe our best player lately on the bench! Is he carrying an injury? Hope this isn't another Alloa.

19QOS19
Wow. As bad as anything from last season. Montrose thoroughly deserving of thier lead but by f**k talk about gifting goals. Teams who can keep their shape must love playing against us as we're so obvious and easy to play. Ridiculously slow getting forward, so dodgy at the back. One of McKay or McClelland are lucky Efe clearly isn't 100% or I expect they'd have been hooked after 20 minutes. Expect he'll come on at HT. Fergusson has been a ghost in the middle, he needs to go as well. An early goal and you never know but I've no idea where it comes from if we don't seriously change something at HT. One more goal for Montrose and it's game over.
Distant Doonhamer
So a decent run of results, some positivity around a couple of deadline day signings and what looked like a winnable home game. 2-0 down at HT. It’s the QOS way.
rubber_duck
Mackay is a bombscare. Ferguson is anonymous. Logan’s struggling. Nothings working. It can only improve for Queens. Montrose wholly deserving of their lead.

I mean, the last time McKay and McClelland formed our centre-back pairing we kept Alloa down to just the four goals. 5 minutes ago, 19QOS19 said: An early goal and you never know but I've no idea where it comes from if we don't seriously change something at HT. 19QOS19
Gibson doing more in 3 minutes than 45 minutes of Walker.

That's the worry. Today was set up for us. It should have been winnable ahead of games against more fancied teams, two of whom met today. I think there's a danger of Falkirk pulling away like Dunfermline did last year. Edited September 2, 2023 by Monkey Tennis

Dougie Mills
Defense is an absolute shambles and midfield is far too lightweight. We’ve now lost twice at home to part-timers already and look no better than last year.
bod
Anyone want to disagree with me when I say Gibson should be starting ahead of Walker?

As I posted earlier it's the QOS way for us to have a bit of momentum and some positivity after some signings yesterday only to immediately mess up. It's annoyingly all too familiar.
