MazzyStar
Putting todays result behind us, I’m expecting a much improved performance against the most overhyped team in the league. This is now an absolute must win game. Hamilton are nowhere near as good as their results so far suggest. We have the best keeper in the league in Fulton The best defence in the league with Tumilty,McGowan,Kilday and Longridge One of the best if not the best midfields in the league in Mcdonald,Tait and Martin Yes our attack is a bit weak and is needing strengthened. But this is far better than the one that won 4 times against Queens 2 seasons ago in the championship and the squad that won against Queens in the semi last season.
Ian Mcleod
In general this is the hardest test so far on paper. Bartley will have QOTS set up well however both Montrose and Alloa have managed to beat QOTS away. Think it will be a close game but we will just get over the line again QOTS 1-2 Accies.
Accies1
Think this one is our first real test. Today was, in my opinion, by far our worst performance of the season so far but we still managed to sneak a win. Hopefully we'll have a new centre forward in before Saturday. Probably 8/9 players pick themselves. I'd give McGlynn and Smith starts on Saturday. I'm going to be blindly optimistic and say we'll put in a big performance and win this one 2-0.

Laid-back Accie
Queens has been a happy hunting ground for quite a while, and I think we need that to continue if we want to win the league. We will definitely need to step it up from today, but an important point is that QotS won't sit in like Alloa did at their own ground, so hopefully a lot more space from the off that we can try and exploit. I know Fulton wasn't great today, but hopefully that's just a bit of rust after coming back from injury. Goalkeeper imo is a position you must have consistency in so he has to stay in. Otherwise is a bit of a headache, I worry bringing Smith in, he definitely deserves it, but its an important game, and if it doesn't go well for him I fear his confidence might end up at square one again.

I’m not sure exactly how good Fulton is but he was first choice in a team that conceded 63 goals last season. Hamilton are definitely better in defence than queens, but over the rest of the team I think queens are better. Cochrane, Todd, Mimnaugh and Ferguson (if he really is as good as East Fife and St Johnstone fans say he is) and then Mckechnie, Gibson and Walker are all some of the best players in midfield and out wide in the league imo.

I would agree with most of that. Stirling was our first real test and we did drop points there. I would also start Mcglynn next week instead of O'Hara. Hopefully we can get a big win next week. I said after Stirling game that we had to get 9/9 points from the Alloa,QOTS and Annan games so we're either going into the Falkirk game on top or on level with GD.

Yes but last season our defence until January was Michael Doyle, Dan O'Reilly (who was ok)A finished Brian Easton and Matthew Shiels. We would of conceded a lot more goals if it wasn't for Fulton last season. We chose to let Mimnaugh go even though I liked Mimnaugh he wouldn't start for us sadly. Harry Cochrane is a good player and out of all those players you've named he's probably the only one that would actually start for us.

Mimnaugh must really be making a name for himself at Queens, wasn't great for us, could have the odd moment with a great pass but was always too lightweight. Especially since the comments from Queens fans about Connor Murray were mostly negative, who I think has had a better impact for us.

I don’t think he’s amazing but Tait isn’t that good. Falkirk also tried sign Ferguson so he’s a player any team in this league would be happy to have, with some St Johnstone fans surprised he went out on loan. Gibson is also a player that will definitely go on to play at much higher level than league one.

I've heard Gibson is meant to be good but that's about it.
Otis Blue
I've had Accies to win this league from the off (for me the best squad), although I think Falkirk will run them very close. For Queens the target has to be 3rd. It's hard to predict how Queens will perform on the day, our results have been mixed. The one strange constant point which pre-dates Bartley is that our home form is just truly woeful - don't know what this is about, can't put my finger on it. I fully expected a drubbing at Falkirk so it was encouraging that we almost scraped a draw out of it - but it sounds as though we did so by being quite negative and didn't have a go at their back line. Perhaps that's a case of reality beginning to strike home with Bartley as he realises that going gung-ho up front could ultimately get him the sack if he loses too many. Will be interesting how he sets up against Accies. I'm still in the "like what I've seen so far" camp with Bartley, and because as a fan my vision is hopelessly tainted I'm going to hope for a narrow Queens win here to maybe keep this league interesting and hold the top two within reach. That said, Accies will know this will be one of their tougher challenges and will be very much up for the game on Saturday. Should be a decent game. PS - Edit to add the obvious ... Queens just never beat Accies, we just don't - some things in life are just a given, sadly ... Edited September 18 by Otis Blue

Going to be missing a few players for this I expect Gibson McGuffie Doherty Bryson Church and Reagon all to be out . As Marv is always saying it is a squad game no doubt he will have a game plan with a team selection that nobody can predict .
