Looking likely both Chalmers and Dowds will be cup tied so all on Jamie Murphy to grab us a victory. Even with they 2 out, you just know McGeady starts and Amartey will be a last 10 minute substitution. Bullen said Musonda would be back, but no trust in that whatsoever and who knows about Albinson, however Mucth plays either way. peternapper Posted November 23, 2023 Share Posted November 23, 2023 Supposed to be getting very cold by Saturday hopefully not bad enough to effect the game. We have been a different team this season and were going really well, we have struggled a bit more in the last manth, been missing two of our playmakers. Not sure if Andy McCarthy is ready to return but Hamish Ritchie came on for 20 mins last week scored the winner and showed his class. Remember years ago we played Ayr in the league after confirming over the phone (think it was the sfa tea lady) that our player was ok to play he did we won then it was decided he should have been banned. If you are Peterhead FC and seeing a higher-league club travel 5000 miles in the pishing cold to bring up your home gates for a cup tie, why would you vote for them to be able to sit at home instead? Anyway, this game is evens at best. If it's still tied at the 70 minute mark Peterhead can look forward to another cunning plan from Bullen in the form of a bunch of completely incongruous subs given no direction other than to run around a lot.
