Dundee, Hearts, Aberdeen, Dundee United, Dunfermline, Livingston, Motherwell and St. Mirren. Not sure if he actually played for Dundee in the Premier (possibly just the first) but definitely Premier with the rest. Hamilton's debut for Dundee was his only Premier game for us, came on as an 18-year old sub for an already relegated Dee side in a 4-0 win over Hibs in May 1994.

Cosmic Joe
After checking the stats, Jim Hamilton junior is indeed the player who has played for most clubs in the top flight post war - Dundee, Hearts, Aberdeen, Dundee United, Dunfermline Athletic, Livingston, Motherwell and St Mirren. Mark Brown, Joe McBride senior, Jim Rowan and Nicky Walker have all played for seven top flight clubs. -
