And I know that these things are now almost totally missing in Scotland's top flight. That's all I'm saying. Richey Edwards
Scottish football isn't that bad. Scotland have reached the last two Euros and played in the last World Cup back in 1998.
hk blues
If the Morecambe BoD are regular readers of P&B then they should set up a friendly between them and a mid-table Scottish Premiership team to settle the argument once and for all. Wait a minute...

No, I was just pointing out (subtly) that Dundee beat Morecambe earlier in the summer 4-2 at their place. It may not be much but it's all we've got by way of a direct comparison. It wasn't meant to be taken entirely seriously. A bit like Adams' comments.

You'll be a happier person. There are plenty entertaining matches in Scottish football. There are plenty characters and stories on and off the pitch. The general vibe from the terraces from the vast majority of clubs is a mixture of resigned gallows humour and genuine affection for the teams. Fucking love it.

Micky Mellon was the manager of a little-known 2nd tier Scottish club so no way his son would be facing up to them. They're so little known they're not even the best known team in their street.
Gekko
Notts County currently 5-0 up against Morecambe after 55 minutes, having been 4-0 at half time. They obviously didn't get the memo.
Ludo*1
Went scouring the Morecambe forum for info on the striker that Div has indicated we are in for on Twitter and came across this thread. Had to laugh at some of their views of our league: http://www.shrimpsvoices.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=28361&sid=d3aede937c059e1340a72d01b3ab7814

Alert Mongoose
Dundee have been linked with a loan swoop for Burnley’s Michael Mellon, son of former Dundee United boss Micky. Highly rated Mellon (20) has been recalled by his parent club following an eye-catching loan spell at Morecambe in the first half of the season. The Scotland U/21 striker has notched 15 goals in 27 appearances for the League Two outfit and Burnley are keen for him to step up to a higher level between now and the end of the current campaign. Why us Derek even asking the question if he thinks they are miles behind Morecambe..?
