Let's be realistic, obviously in the days of 0, 1, even 2 subs this would be common, so let's say since the era of 3 out of 5 subs. My expectation is for the number of substitutions to have peaked a few years ago and to be trending downwards where the majority occasions in the last ten years will have been in the last couple of seasons.
