pete-tartanarmy Posted January 17 Posted January 17 There is a group of 10 of us going over for the first 2 weeks. Only a couple of us have tickets for the games. I know there is the official fan zones, but do we think that there might be Scottish fanzones set up? Ticketed. Maybe set up by Scottish media organisations etc? The last thing the guys without a ticket want is to be scrambling about looking for somewhere to watch the game half an hour before kick off. We want to be organised and have somewhere to watch the game guaranteed. Happy to pay for a ticket for that guarantee. Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions 0 Quote
qos_75 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) I am not sure about separate Scotland fans zones. However, there will be plenty of mixed fan zones available to accommodate everyone. You don’t need a ticket and they are free to get in. I am aware of one main fan zone and another seperate public viewing area in Cologne at least. I am sure there will be plenty of places showing all the games though, wherever you are located. Edited January 18 by qos_75 0 Quote
PB1994 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 No chance they will be organising separate fan zones specific to each team in the tournament. It will be just the usual mixed ones they set up. Every bar in Germany will be showing all the games, I imagine, so I don’t see it being very difficult for anybody finding a place to watch. 0 Quote
Theo Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) Details of each city's official fan zones is here: https://www.uefa.com/euro2024/event-guide/ Edited January 18 by Theo Spelling 2 Quote
lanky_ffc Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Looks like there are two fanzones in Cologne with a possibility of a third depending on demand. The article specifically cites our game with Switzerland as one that may require all three open. Public Viewing for EURO 2024 in Cologne | koeln.de 1 Quote
ZvonimirBoban Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Alright guys, unfortunately not got a ticket for the first game. Looking at the fanzone in Munich to take the game in. Anyone from or been to Munich with any advice? This the best place to watch the game? I see it's first come first served so will probably need to get in early. Could be a costly one spending the day in there? Any advice ? 0 Quote
Sagan Posted May 28 Posted May 28 If I didn’t have a ticket for the game i’d be heading to the Marinenplatz area of the city. I believe there is some Euro 2024 site set up there and bound to be loads of bars showing the game in the area. For those with tickets that are heading to the Olympic Park fanzone during the day pre match, how are you playing on getting to the stadium? 0 Quote

If I end up going there then I'd probably get the shuttle bus they are putting on between the fanzone and the stadium. Edited May 28 by Pie Of The Month 0 Quote
101 Posted May 28 Posted May 28 The single 10,000 capacity fan zone in Frankfurt seems smaller that what other cities are offering anyone else planning on watching the opening game from there? 0 Quote

I am normally not big into Irish bars, but they serve a purpose for games like these. Pie Of The Month Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Someone on the Tartan Army facebook group put up this link from Trip Advisor where someone has listed a bunch of beer gardens that will be showing the game in Munich. It continues into the replies so scroll down for the full list. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTopic-g187309-i118-k14733652-Euro_2024_Big_Screens_in_Munich-Munich_Upper_Bavaria_Bavaria.html 0 Quote
