Not sure about this season but last season the average height of our team surely must have been one of the lowest in the league. Over the years I think our tenacity and pressing/in your face style has been deemed as "big physical hammer throwers". This season we really haven't epitomised "a big strong physical team" at all. Aye we've got a few big tall players, wouldn't class most of them as the typical brick shit house physical player though, Nouble is 6ft5 but more a ball player with good technical ability than a bruiser, not that great at winning headers either, Yengi is the same. Ayo and Nottingham are prob our most physical big players, but that's pretty common for CB's. In fact Holt is our most physically aggressive player and he's a short arse. We only have Mugabi & Bair in the starting 11 over 6ft I think. That includes our midget goalie. You are bigger than us…. None of them are really great in the air. Obileye wins a fair few headers but has a square head so where those headers will land who knows. We have a few Forwards with height but compared to them the short arse Bruce Anderson is better in the air. I'll reserve judgement on Yengi as he's still fairly new but as mentioned he's like Nouble, tall but more of a ball player. If you want to beat Livi drop long balls into our absolutely tiny midfield.

I always park at St Margarets academy when i take the car, short walk either up to the main road and down to the traffic lights, then into the stadium, or the back way down the path to the bridge at the corner of the south east stand.

Nottingham is a big lad too, and Sangare, Yengi is the only one i can think of to score a goal from a header, against Partick thistle in a cup game. For such a tall set of players we concede very easily from set plays, and rarely score from them. As Livi La Vida Loca said, Obileye has a heid like a fifty pence piece, ok for clearing headers but not great attacking them to score.* *Tee'd up for Obileye to score from a set piece tonight now.

Isn't Obileye the guy supposedly on a PCA with us? Will he definitely play?

He will almost definitely be one of our starting CB's. He's a solid centre back but is prone to the occasional error/bomb scare. Very similar to Efe Ambrose. Solid on his day but honking on an off day. Edited February 28 by Livi La Vida Loca

We don't have a choice tbh, our options at CB other than him are currently: Mikey Devlin - shite Sean Kelly - shite Michael Nottingham - slightly less shite Shaun Donnellan - injured Mo Sangare - looked okay at LCB/LWB in a back 3, not convincing at LB in a 4 and probably not great as a CB in one Calan Ledingham - 11 years old Drop Obileye and we're starting both Devlin and Nottingham in the same back line, no thank you.

LIVIFOREVER
We started the season with about 20 CB's, and now we're down to one semi decent one, 2 dodgy ones, and some makeshift CB's that play in other positions. Don't think Donnellan's natural position is CB either but he's looking the best partnership with Obileye when he played a couple of games there before being injured.

crispy
Just now, LIVIFOREVER said: Anderson and MacKay starting. It’s what the people wanted. We need to use MacKay same as Saturday. No nonsense, he gets on his bike and we feed him wide. Anderson looked lively for his goals. Let’s just f*cking start on the front foot and not display any calamitous defending.
Casagolda
Can only assume Gent and Vale are carrying knocks. Had honestly hoped we’d seen the last of SODS at rwb and young right footed loanee at lwb. I mean it didn’t work for the 3 odd months he tried earlier in the season but you never know, maybe it’ll work tonight. Be interesting to see how Nicholson gets on at least.

AdamMFC
I'm guessing Callan Elliot has fell off the edge of the earth? Don't know about Gent but Vale has to be carrying a knock after clashing with Hart, looked like it was maybe his ankle when it happened.
