ZingaliMan
Absolutely buzzing for this classic riffs, deep bass, classical keyboard playing , Ian Gillan vocals. Standing as a young 12 year old in the motor bike ride at the funfair this track started my Deep Purple journey.
Rockhopper
Last saw them in 85 at Knebworth with the so called classic line up of Gillan, Blackmore, Lord, Glover and Paice. Great gig but pissed down all day and we ended up having to push the bus out of the field to get home. Meatloaf and The Scorpions on the bill. Remember Meatloaf had a stookie on his leg and was pelted with mud throughout his set. Happy days Still 3 of the originals in the band. Hopefully Gillan's voice is still up to the job but should be a good night anyway with Reef on the undercard
Ned Nederlander
Saw them at the Hammersmith Odeon back in 1991 with Joe Lynn Turner on vocals - absolutely loved it. Enjoy.
pozbaird
One of the things I like about them is they still record and release new material. There’s some really strong stuff on their latter ‘new’ era albums.
