keptie
Big enthusiasm for this game then. If we put in the 2nd half performance v Dunfermline we might get something out of the game which we really must win to keep any hopes of avoiding the automatic drop alive which is pretty forlorn . Airdrie have had a good return to Championship football and on the whole have had a good season so another difficult game for us but i live in hope we can get a win. Weather looking crap as well.

AJ77
Huge game for us tonight, a win would surely see us safe of 9th place (yes i'm still looking over my shoulder) and really put us back in the mix for 4th. We've enjoyed playing on Tuesday nights last month or so on paper you would think we should win given Arbroaths poor form, don't think it'll be as easy as that, not as confident for whatever reason tonight. All the best to the fans travelling.
A Diamond For Me
Arbroath have obviously had horrendous trouble with injuries this season, and while we've never been as badly off in that respect as they have we're struggling a bit ourselves. Between Dunfermline's pitch and our Challenge Cup run we've had a hell of a lot of rescheduled games in the last couple of months, and have had a lot of two-game weeks. I think McCabe has been trying to rotate the squad as much as he can to relieve that, but there'll be a lot of tired legs even among those who aren't actually injured. McStravick is still out, and Rae and Aiken are surely not playing again this season. Ballantyne and McGill made the bench on Friday, with Gabby coming on, so hopefully they're fit to start tonight.
lichtie23
Trying to stay positive. If we win tonight and again on Saturday we cut the gap to 3 points. Airdrie shouldn’t find it as easy to score from crossed balls as Boruc shouldn’t start.

I was just about to say, could be a big 5 days in the context of the season for you by cutting the gap to 3 points. Big ask, but not impossible.
36-0 Maroon
Bird & McIntosh on from the start ️ They couldn’t live with eithers pace in the last Gayfield Pasting 3 massive points could set us up nicely for Saturday and chance to reduce the gap to 3 points with 4 to play Edited April 2 by 36-0 Maroon
Rhys McCabe Hype Train
No idea how this one goes. The second half on Friday evening shows how we do have a bit of a shocker of a performance in us still, and I do think the team is suffering from the amount of games and injuries that we have. Seen it said elsewhere that even a draw for us tonight makes us safe from 10th place which we can’t forget, anything more than that I think is a bonus that gets us back in the reckoning for 4th spot.
TheRoundO
Come on Arbroath, let's have some goals. We're here for a good time, not for a long time.

++Ammo - Airdrie++
will this game be on Arbroath TV? I was supposed to be making the trip but, life got in the way and I need to pick the daughter up in Glasgow after a gig since Mrs A is f*cking ill. Anyway, I genuinely don't know what to expect, We put in a performance the last time at Gayfield that would Rival Arbroaths effort at our ground for "worst performance of the year". Fully expect Arbroath to go for it, especially after Saturdays second half (which I seen a wee bit of). Just f*cking win Airdrie, I've had a p*sh day at work, im going home to get absolutely blazing. Enjoy.

Enjoy. Games on arbroathfc.tv for £13,rota'd nightshift so hoping for a quiet first couple of hours to see the game. Not sure what to expect, looking for some kind of response to the woeful second half last Friday although aware the team's probably feeling the burn of the last few weeks schedule.

Misery, failure, running up the white flag in the first half, before a late second half rally that convinces some of our fans that McIntyre should get given next season yet still ends with us losing the game and continuing our plummet to Lee Guan.

RedLichtie86
Simply we need to win. Form has been pish with our defence crumbling after 1 goal. But there have been flashes of good play. Just need to stay switched on for the whole game and not just part of it. A win tonight will give the players a huge lift. Otherwise thats it.
itzdrk
Really feels like now or never for Arbroath tonight, I can't see it happening but the chance to eat up 6 points on Inverness this week isn't impossible.
