Arbroath v Airdrieonians

Recommended Posts

I know it feels like some of us have been saying this since about October 2022 but this really is a must win game for us.

Even if we do win I still think it’s just delaying the inevitable, it would be nice to get a few more points before the end of the season though and some meagre crumbs of positivity.

I agree strongly.

Just not sold on donnell

Currently tempted by Arbroath on an Asian handicap. Only thing stopping me is our defensive record is fairly decent.

I vaguely recall someone on the Arbroath thread say something along the lines of "10 cup finals!".  We've lost a whole lotta cup finals since then...

That's going to be a fun dressing room at half time.  From Boruc almost giving a goal away on 27 seconds, to McIntosh refusing to give McKenna the ball and then fucking the penalty, you can really see that morale is at rock bottom.

Haven't seen a second of the game so far but listening in I now know who in Arbroath only has two haircuts left, what the commentators boy had for his dinner and their favourite wrestler. Haven't a fuckin scooby what's happening on the pitch apart from McIntosh getting a shoeing at half time.8/10 would listen again.

When McIntyre took over, I mind being impressed by how organised we lolk, and how we looked like a football team. Even with 13 players, we looked organised.

Somehow, we've managed to regress into a team that have seemingly never seen each other before, let alone decided who takes the penalties.

Really feels like now or never for Arbroath tonight, I can't see it happening but the chance to eat up 6 points on Inverness this week isn't impossible.

I think I know what to expect.  Misery, failure, running up the white flag in the first half, before a late second half rally that convinces some of our fans that McIntyre should get given next season yet still ends with us losing the game and continuing our plummet to Lee Guan.

Tick.
