ScottR96
Not over the line yet, but leapfrogging those c***s is very pleasing.
the_bully_wee
I'm not usually a fan of players celebrating in front of opposition fans, but it was absolutely delicious watching the Clyde lads standing open-armed in front of the away crowd. I don't think anyone could argue that we didn't deserve to win that by a greater margin. Plenty of stuff that ranged from bad to awful on the day but the three points really are all that mattered. Thought Peterhead would have enough to win today but fair play to them for hanging in there and getting a late equaliser which keeps things VERY tasty at the bottom. Important that we recognise today only gives us a great chance, I suspect we will need a bare minimum of four points from our remaining games, but likely more than that. Kenny_m
Well done Clyde and Jordan Allan, would hate to see a club with Clyde's history disappear to the Lowland league.
haufdaft
I'm so glad Clyde won that despite world class awful performances from King, Howie and Rennie. Add the anonymous duo of Ballantyne and Cuddihy. McCall better start picking players to influence matches in a positive manner of we're to escape the trap door. Thank God for Jordan Allan Edited April 6 by haufdaft
Bully Wee Villa
We have a real chance now, brilliant considering where we were. Still going to be a nailbiter, expect a few shock results given that the top four all have very little to play for. Bully Wee Clyde FC
Thought for a moment that the (fuc#ing awful) ref was gonna disallow it for a tiny shove. Funny to see Stranraer playing with such urgency after the 92nd minute.

Scotchpie
Bad decision making all day with the worst one being Stranraer's decision of which way to shoot in the first half

Clyde_MM
Poor in the first half but that could maybe be chalked up to dealing with the wind. Battered them in the second half. Some good saves from their keeper with 2 or 3 goalbound shots cleared as well. Stranraer defended well but too deep and, in the end, pressure told. Shout out to that useless referee. There is a balance to be drawn between a ref making the game all about themself and just showing up to pocket a fee. Today's ref very much did the latter, letting the Stranraer keeper and right back rip the utter piss out of him at every throw in and goal kick. Can't blame them either if the ref isn't willing to lay down a marker. Very quick to book Ray Grant and a Stranraer midfielder for perfectly fine tackles too but absolutely shat it from a nailed on red when Allan was kicked in the face going for a header. Scoring when we did was nerve-shredding but actually worked well. Stranraer, understandably, showed up with next to no attacking intent. In attack, they mustered a single decent opportunity in each half but no more. If you're not a very clinical side, you wont pick up many points that way. By the time they needed to show some intent it was far too late. Thought our midfield three were good today when we did get the ball down. Kinnear with another big save when it mattered. Hamilton ate up anything that got past our midfield. Not Jordan's best game tbh but he took the goal well when it came. Hope the boys enjoy their night. They deserve it. The hard work is far, far from over though. The Bully Wee.
SLClyde
Did what we had to in the first half against the wind, was surprised with how little Stranraer created. They clearly just wanted a point out the game in the second, but we created more than enough to deserve the win overall. Some good performances in there along with some poor ones, but only results that really matter at this stage.
Glorious Purpose
Nothing to celebrate yet, far from it. A thoroughly deserved win in the end after it seemed they were going to sneak away with a draw that they were setting their stall out to get from very early in the second half. Horrific conditions clearly but in the half both teams had wind advatage we used it far better in creating chances and it did feel like a matter of time before we scored albeit I did fear we had passed up another chance at clawing off bottom. Another big match were the players have delivered. Four more of them to come...
Clyde_MM
Our crossing and "long" throws as well btw. Suppose we did score from one but jeezo.
BullyWeeStonehouse
That 92nd minute winner after their time wasting antics from the kick off was sweeeeeeet. And then that wee w**k of a keeper having the cheek to moan at the ball boy not being quick enough getting the ball back after he’d spent every goal kick stopping for a drink and fucking about with his socks. GIRUY to him & the Stranraer right back for their constant time wasting, Agnew and his assistant for their shite game plan. The clattering of the Stranraer fans seats when that goal went in and they all left nearly drowned out our celebrations! Four massive games coming up now, it’s all in our hands!

Clyde01
The second half today we were in total control and really should have won that more comfortably. We weren’t great in the first half but when you compare to how Stranraer faired playing into the wind we did miles better than them. Particularly pleasing to get revenge for olly McDonald doing us in stoppage time down there earlier in the season and finally beat that Stranraer side at the 4th attempt. Job far from done but we have the momentum and being off the bottom must give us a huge lift. Onwards and upwards!
