Β Not that it's needed but an extra incentive to take points off Dunfermline next week (please!), it will make your last game against us much easier. Looking back to last season we rested half the team in our last league game before the play-offs, so would assume we'd do the same if it came to that.

He's been a very astute signing by our management team.Β Terrific news. Hopefully he's loving the Highlands.
an86
Lack of depth in the squad is there for everyone to see. Kids and guys who simply arenβt good enough for the Championship. There was nobody on that bench capable of changing a game or even creating a spark. Williamson came on and ran about a bit, but we need more than that.Β

Thomson needs to play in midfield, Turner has to be further up the park if he's adamant about using him at all, and Robson is still our best option at LCB as he allows Scott to push further forward with a bit more confidence in what's behind him. The game plan of passing it out from the back until we approach the halfway line then punting it forward needs to stop as well, it's totally ineffective.

Felt for the guy tbh - he wasn't given much of an opportunity to make any kind of an impact.

Needs to go somewhere and play a full season of regular football. Fact he wasnβt getting a game in League One and came back down the road from Cove probably tells us the level heβs currently at.Β
Sir Tarmo
Iβve said it before on our threads but everyone knows Welsh is a good player, heβd be playing at a higher level if he wasnβt constantly injured. The timing of getting rid of some experienced players (Welsh, Carson etc) during a relegation scrap, particularly to relegation rivals in one case, and replacing them with inexperienced loan players was certainly questionable. However, individually letting Welsh go wasnβt the poorest decision. Queenβs fans will realise this when heβs out with another long term injury.

You may be right, but so far, we have played 13 games since he joined & the only one he has missed was the one where he was suspended & he has played the full 90 minutes in all but 3 of them (one of these due to red card) Β So, so far so good.

You'll get months when he's fit then he'll pick up an injury where's he's on the sidelines for ages. He's already had his long term injury this campaign so you should be good till end of the season.Β What pissed a lot of ICT fans off including myself is that we let him go on a free transfer to one of our relegation rivals when he was actually fit. He actually wanted to leave in all fairness he had his house up for sale & everything but he would've stayed till the Summer to help us avoid the drop but like Carson we forced them both out prematurely.Β Lot of the games where we lost or threw away points by drawing we could've done with him in midfield getting a grip of the game. Fortunately for us we had his & Sheridans number on Saturday.Β It's not over yet though I can see us losing to Morton on the final day thanks to a George Oakley goal & Queens beating Airdrie after a Welsh scremer sending ICT to the relegation play offs we'll have to see how it goes....Β

Then he got injured & sent back to Everton. He wouldn't have been as good as Wotherspoon but he could've filled that attacking midfielder roleΒ We didn't even know Cammy Kerr could play in midfield when we signed him so if Dunc or the club try & make out he was Welsh's replacement all along they can f**k off with that. Samson looks decent so far but he was signed as an emergency to replace Gilmour way after we got rid of Welsh.Β
