Beachcomber
Nothing to play for here, maybe Spartans will change their squad up a bit with an eye on Tuesday and avoid potential injuries. Would be nice to finish the season with a victory ! Edited May 4 by Beachcomber

Beachcomber
That was ***** A game we should have won considering the amount of chances we created , against a weakened Spartans side but we somehow managed to lose it. Get this season in the bin, hopefully we can mount a challenge to the top four next season.

How we all feel this seasons been...!!! Can't wait to see everyone wetting themselves of who's retain or released after this season... Not good enough, expecting the release list to be as long as a shopping list. Edited May 4 by Cambuslang Fifer
Exiled Fifer
“Very sore one to take after having so much of the play and creating so many chances. Fair play to The Spartans for benefiting from the 2 gifts . If it is correct that DC had made his mind up on who he wanted to remain for next season, then it comes as no surprise that he is having second thoughts on his choices. Once again EF failed to capitalise on their grip of the game and once again lost 2 stupid goals after losing the ball, like back to the future GMcD times. If the majority of the squad remains, then it’s going to be a similar dogfight next season. Look how easy it is to end up bottom of the table like Stranraer and Albion Rovers. Worrying times.
sneed hearn
This match summed up East Fife’s season.Missed lots of good chances and conceded 2 terrible goals.East Fife fans have watched that all season. Unless there are big changes we will have the same next season. Probably a good thing that Dick Campbell has seen the performances in the last 4 games.
Fast_Action
Has a Dick Campbell post match interview been posted anywhere?
sammytroot
He did not give a post match interview.Go to EFTV to see match highlights and interviews with Jonathan Page and Stewart Murdoch. He did speak at Hospitality post match when he turned the air blue and suggested that he may have to review the 4 to 5 changes he had suggested were necessary prior to the game.He was NOT a happy chap.

I don't get the impression that he is a happy chap. And you guys seem to have regressed since he took the wheel. Still, we so needed these points a week past on Saturday.

EF were undefeated in his first 9 games with the consequence he achieved what he was hired for. His last 4 games ended in 4 defeats which probably says more about the players than the management team. It should be an interesting close season on more than front with hopefully the fan's buyout coming to fruition.
fifer67
Any idea when the list of released players will be made available to the public. Obviously only a few contracted for next season won’t be too many that Dick will be persuading to put pen to paper.
sammytroot
Prior to Saturday's game ,he was talking of only 4/5 new players. Obviously lack of finance would seem to be hindering his ambitions. I would guess that the players will know this week ,one way or another.
