So f**k all that would have got me in on time, briefly considered getting to Edinburgh or Heathrow but would have just been short on both Absolute fucking nightmare mate, gutted for every c**t that has missed out as a result.

Billy Jean King
The show goes on. Back to Dusseldorf tonight for Spain v Albania and it's sunny again. Massive Albanian support must easily be 80/20 in their favour.

Ah, feck it, I'll post the relevant bit anyhoo . That brings us to the Scots. They did everything right. They marched through Munich, Cologne and Stuttgart singing. Even in cities where they weren’t playing, they infected everyone with their good humour. Scottish fans really wanted to play a match against my home club, FT Gern. It took place the day after the opening game and afterwards everyone sat together in the clubhouse until late at night. They used this tournament to celebrate with others. They want to be part of Europe. It’s not just the caterers who will miss them. I’ve been asked what bothers me most about this Euros. I said that the Scots have already gone home.

AJF
Our mini tour of Germany saw us stop off at Weeze, Kevelaer, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Munich, Nuremberg, Frankfurt and Cologne so there are too many pictures to post here and quite frankly it’s too much effort to split them into separate posts to overcome the upload limit But here are 3 that show off some of the best things Germany has to offer: 1. Nuremberg - not a host city so a lot quieter and a welcome break between Munich and Frankfurt. An absolutely lovely place that I’ll definitely return to, probably for their Christmas markets which are said to be excellent 2. The New Town Hall located at Marienplatz in Munich showing off the many outstanding buildings. Just a short wee walk from the Munich Hofbrauhaus as well where we enjoyed a few steins with the many Danish fans that were in town ahead of their game with Serbia 3. A German wheat beer enjoyed in a roasting hot Frankfurt prior to attending the Romania v Slovakia game Edited July 3 by AJF
