Andy groundhopper
Can only imagine the game plan was to sit back and stifle for 90 mins and hope to catch something on the break. Ridiculous challenge for the red card, hardly got into the game so far. Forget this one, can the Scots get anything from the other games without showing intensity, forcing tackles and trying to push upwards ? Time to watch the golf.

Michael W
6 minutes ago, Granny Danger said: He’s got to take his share of the blame. He’s the manager, he has been for 5 years, it’s his team, his formation and his tactics. None of which have been impressive tonight. Some allowances can be given for injuries, but that's it. Germany have done their homework - the midfield is being overrun and they've picked out Robertson/Tierney's natural game and are finding the space between the defenders with the longer pass, especially down the left. Callum McGregor might be a trophy machine at Celtic, but he's rotten. Ryan Porteous is a fucking idiot. Quelle surprise. johnnydun
Avril had more attacking threat than this.
Owsley 2
When I saw that absolute idiot on the national news saying "I'm telling the nation right now, we are winning the Euros" I thought 5-0. I'd take that now, if Germany keep going it could be 7 or 8.

This has been a long, long time in the making. I don't know. Surely we would know Germany would play like this and we don't know how , or are unable , to prevent it

ScottishLoon
Genuine question- what do we work on it training these days? It's like we've not done any defensive work for ages, been getting progressively worse since qualification.
Ya Bezzer!
Only Scotland could be under intense pressure at a major finals after 40 seconds. Probably the most ironic thing ever is that Scottish football actually invented passing and look at us now.

KirkieRR
Can't face much more of this. If Germany end up playing England they'd better play like this.
Stan Bo
The more I see it the more annoyed at Porteous I am. Absolute shite at tackle. Tries to do with with the straight leg then swing a right foot at the ball. The whole half was a shambles where no one gets pass marks. Big names have been a shambles
ArabGaz
Got a feeling lads that we might not get anything out of this.

Even allowing for injuries we are reduced to a patchwork squad short of any quality. And that's what happens when your leading clubs prioritise signing third-rate foreigners over developing native talent. Rinse and repeat over three decades.

velo army
I'd be alright never qualifying for anything again. This has been chastening and pretty embarrassing. In all seriousness Germany have been very good. Musiala is an absolute joy to watch.
