If You Had Time-Travelled From 1999 to 2024...

I'd be amazed that the youth haven't changed much and still listen to Liam Gallacher and wear bucket hats.

Also on that note that Bum Bags are back in fashion but now are oddly wore across the body rather than around the waist

I think I would have half-expected Alexa-like, handheld tablets & GPS car technology due to that being depicted in Demolition Man*, but would be surprised that kitchen technology hasn't moved on.  From the exception of the air fryer, everything is "as you were, and still don't stick a fork in the toaster".

Cityscape would be a big one when you haven't seen things changing gradually, particularly along the waterfront in Glasgow or Dundee.  Imagine packing your trunks for a shot on the Olympia Cannonball, only to get there and finding a f***ing V&A standing in its place... and then finding out the replacement Olympia had no Cannonball.  As a 15yo, that would have been truly devastating.

*and I'd find it funny that Taco Bell is now in the UK.

Is it really 114 yeas now since Dundee last won the Scottish Cup?

That hasn't changed since 1999.

This is our year, though.

In 1999 I was 3, I’d imagine if I time travelled to 2024 I’d be absolutely heartbroken that Woolworths was no longer with us.

Used to love that you could get pick 'n mix & pokemon cards.
