NorthernLights
It took a penalty shoot out lasting 34 penalties for Ajax to progress at the expense of Panathanikos. A special shout out to Brobbey who managed to miss two penalties but still be on the winning side.

The whole shoot-out is here, 28 minutes, might watch it all later. Brobbey's second penalty is at 24 minutes, pure Row Z stuff:
Claudia Gentile
1 - 1 versus Bodo Glimt and Porto already. Worth a watch Edited September 25 by Claudia Gentile
Claudia Gentile
10 man Bodo Glimt 3-1 up now.
Claudia Gentile
Hold on to win 3-2. A great start to the Europa League for Bodo Glimt. Galatasary vs PAOK could be fiery. Will Ten Hag come a cropper against his old team? Unlikely but not totally out the question. All games on TNT.
Sir Tarmo
Ten Hag has a rod on seeing all those Dutch players

I knew about the firework disaster in Enschede, but not the stories about the other players https://t.co/ODSaItxkHh

Jim McLean's Ghost
Spurs down to 10 men early. Looks like Qarabag are going to still sit in and wait for more mistakes.

Spurs making plenty of mistakes, but Qarabag not taking advantage of them. Spurs tactics are mental, 2-0 up with ten men, but instead of trying to slow things down when Vicario has the ball, they keep trying to play out quickly and almost always give it away near their own box. Keeping it interesting though.
peasy23
And Spurs go 3 up thanks to the Qarabag keeper palming a Son shot straight to Solanki. Edited September 26 by peasy23
Zetterlund
Interesting stat from the commentator earlier that Qarabag had a higher expected goals figure despite being 3-0 down. I can't remember the last time I saw a team miss so many chances. They looks like they'd make good 5 a sides players but cannae finish their tea.
