Ian Mcleod
We're Coming into this game with a bit of momentum after getting our first win and with the hope of getting a bit of revenge over Airdrie after what happened the last time we played. Airdrie are struggling a bit at the moment so a real opportunity to pick up another 3 points. Airdrie for me seem to have recruited very similar to us in the season we went down with signing young untested players I don't doubt that some of them are talented players however you can of course have a few young talented players but you also need to have experience in this league which Airdrie have lost a lot of during the summer and haven't really replaced with losing guys like Fordyce, Telfer, Ballatyne, Gallagher, Rae and Todorov. Every game in this league can pretty much go either way though and this game is no different but I do back us to pick up another 3 points Shaw to score and Todorov to come off the bench to score the winner Accies 2-1 Airdrie
Rocky Rooster AFC
The only real talking point to start with is the ridiculous gate prices at Hamilton. Shocking. Otherwise The Diamonds to end the mini run of defeats they are on with a comfortable 2-0 win. David Fernández
Does Serif Zengin have an Oasis performance at half time lined up with those prices?
WL Diamond
Not sure how the game’s going to pan out, can only hope for an improvement on the last few games. I agree however that the ticket prices are ridiculous, £34 for a parent and child for a Championship match is outrageous and I’ll probably be giving it a miss for that reason.

Agree all clubs should be the same prices with standing areas cheaper like it used to be.. 26 quid is ridiculous, the price though for being sad at 5pm on a Saturday. For the record Dundee United did the same last year and we were quite vocal about it..
moses1924
Not going to this as £34 is too much for a parent and child, cant help but feel Accies will lose more money than they make by charging this much. As for the game, I think its a must not lose for us, been on a stinking run of form so a draw to steady the ship would be fine allowing us to get some of th injuries cleared up and the new players settled in before the next league game. Could go either way, not really kept up with who the accies have brought in but have the fear that Todorov might come back to haunt us...

The MAC
Do you need to buy a monthly subscription to view the game or can you get it just on a PPV basis
Ye Olde Hamiltonian
If only the clowns in the Accies Boardroom could read this and other recent Game threads. Bad enough pricing out away fans but seeing Accies supporters I know not being able to afford to take their kids is unforgivable- especially as they have continued to support us after 2 relegations in a short period. As for the game, it will be a close affair and whoever scores first will probably prevail. I am still not convinced with the Accies midfield as Barry Maguire and Ben Williamson have not impressed me and I would like to see young Liam Morgan replace one of them, but this Manager refuses to give youth a chance which goes against the Accies ethos. If he repeats the Todorov/Oli Shaw combination, the Airdrie defence will have an easy day as both were dreadful as a pair. Narrow Accies win perhaps after Airdrie dominating possession could well be the shout, but I always wait to see what team he picks first as the occasional Rankin brainfart has handed victory to opponents on a plate.
Todd_is_God
I think we will win this.
Moysterclass
Looking at this on paper we definitely should win. In practice though, our manager has a habit of making things difficult when they really needn't be. Going to say 1-0 Accies here, tentatively.
cb_diamond
Everyone concentrating, understandably, on our defensive injury crisis, but it's the middle of the park I'm most concerned about. Rhys has to get a settled midfield sorted, particularly as the supply to Wilson has been hot garbage so far this season. Can see another defeat here, which would have been unthinkable 3 or 4 months ago if this fixture had come up Edited August 31 by cb_diamond

smc4761
And its back to normal for Accies. 2-0 up and lose 2 goals in last 10 minutes. Maybe someone should tell Rankrotten that games last for 90 minutes , not 80. Expecting to hear the same old, same old hite from Rankrotten
accies1874
First half was dull, then I thought we were really decent for the first 35 of the second half. We're unlikely to outplay Airdrie in a possession game, so it needs to be a case of being most dangerous when they have the ball, whether that be pressing them or hitting them on the break, and I thought we did that for most of the second half. Martin, Henderson and Shaw were all very good. Then the final 10 minutes happened...
