FifeSons
I'll be in attendance, so this deserves a full week's build-up and hopefully the first three points of the season.
microdave
I've gone for a draw. Because it's always a draw.

This means FifeSons needs to compile a fair and comprehensive match report for the P&B massive who won't be making it.

BallochSonsFan
Tempted by this one. Depends on whether I get everything done that I need to on Saturday morning to still be able to drive down to Annan. And Solway Sharks v Leeds Knights not moving the face off from 7pm to 6pm. In the mood to do the double header. Football in Annan and then Dumfries for the hockey.

Annan to Dumfries 25 - 30 minutes drive max, even if hockey starts at 6 it's fairly achievable to do both if you get a quick getaway from Galabank and no snags or traffic delays.

Parking around the ice bowl would be the issue. Pain in the arse when it's busy.

Park in Queens Arena and walk round behind the terracing (not sure if access gate is open though), couple of minutes walk, or Loch Road Medical Centre, again couple of minutes walk to Ice Bowl, plenty of street parking around too. Can't say I've ever been to the Ice Bowl for the hockey so not sure how busy it gets around there, you've obviously more idea than me.
FifeSons
Do they take card in the ground or cash only? Edited September 12 by FifeSons

I think the gate between the Arena car park and the club one is locked after the ground is cleared. Police don't want it used as a through route. Could still park there but would need to walk around the roads, at least after the hockey. It would still be open at 6pm.

Aye, think the gate was kept open for parking when the temp swimming pool was at the Ice Bowl.

I’ve bought the tickets online. What’s the situation with the food stalls, are they cash only? Annoyingly I actually remembered to take cash out for once, only for the machine to decide my card doesn’t work.

Sorry I don’t know if you can pay with your card at the food stall because I never have food. I prefer drinks in the Clubhouse
O'Kelly Isley III
The steak pies at Gala Bank are really good, but I'd stop at three.
squeezebox-son
At risk of sounding like @FifeSons here... Will there be a stream or anything available tomorrow (overseas of course )? Not 100% sure if we will make it down and trying to plan a backup
