Most consecutive league draws

Stenhousemuir drew their final eight matches last season. Is this the record?

I was curious about this too, so I tried asking three different AIs and they said:

• Greenock Morton in the 2024/25 season with 12 draws (lol no)
• The Scotland national team drawing 12 consecutive matches between 1987 and 1988 (not true)
• Clyde in the 2000/01 season with ten draws (also not true)

Each was very convincing that these events had definitely happened, and provided links upon request, most of which totally refuted what they'd just said.

So aye, apparently the answer will be Morton, but not until the end of the season

Yes and no.

They drew 8 matches which is the record.

They lost the final game of the season to Stranraer.

I made this post elsewhere about a slightly weird season:
