Sonam
Thread title changed, yet another match where County will face a team energised by a Manager gone... Sadly, will probably be a Hearts win now Edited September 23 by Sonam
pozbaird
If County score first in this one, the atmosphere will turn extremely ugly, extremely quickly.

Savage Henry
He looked like he was going to walk in his post game demeanour. But County are very good at getting managers one more game by not showing up for crisis games. So I’d hold off.
tamthebam
It's a dilemna- do they sack Naismith before they invariably beat Hibs in the Derby under a caretaker or do they sack him the game after they invariably beat Hibs in the Derby?

Tony Wonder
Think he'll still be in charge for this one, though he shouldn't be.
Don Homer
Chat of Naismith getting booted before his squad of hopeless uglies make their way up to God's country: Screen_Recording_20240921_230616_X~2.mp4

Neilson was sacked for less and had similar credit in the bank. We've also got a trip to Azerbaijan a few days after this, so the time is now. I'd be shocked if he's not gone by tomorrow. Caretaker for the next 3 games and then hopefully someone new in after the international break. Not that I have any faith in our ability to hire a proper manager.

I don't disagree that they should act, a new manager, even a caretaker, would lift the crowd and remove the toxicity before County in what is a huge week. I just think they'll give him it in the hope he can stumble onto a win and it'll give the players an injection of confidence.

Bad Wolf
If there's anything more conclusive than randoms on the internet hearing "chat", it's two randoms on the internet hearing it. I've also heard he's gone already.
Lanky Highlander
Confirmed he’s gone now: https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com//sport/football/hearts/hearts-sack-steven-naismith-after-a-2-1-loss-at-st-mirren-leaves-them-bottom-of-the-premiership-4791898
The Great Stagsby
This is clearly totally unfair on Ross County. There should be a rule in football that you can't sack your manager if your next opponent's most recent game was against a team who had also just sacked their manager.
pozbaird
Lose to St Mirren - get pumped. It’s known now as the Mowbray Rule.
