Would like to see Cooper start today. Think Todd will be on bench to continue easing him in, perhaps start him vs Kelty in the Challenge Cup.

I'd like it too but can't see it. Probably the same line up as Thistle, guess we'll find out shortly.

Fogarty and Wotherspoon should be back. McPake confirmed only Benedictus isn't available.

Think he'll probably want to make changes after last week. Can see him going with the same team who started against Raith.

I've had a look at our team sheet for the day and I can't for the life of me figure out what that formation is going to be

4-2-3-1. Fieldson LB (been very good so far), Macgregor LM with Thomas in behind Rudden

I think Airdrie are a worse team than Dunfermline, but that probably doesn't make you feel much better right now.

How f**king bad are airdrie then? Cos we are really shit.  Even if they are and do us a favour by finishing 10th all it will do is make us play a play-off and lose that instead.

That was awful from us until about the 70th minute. I didn't see who was at fault for the two corner goals but very poor to concede from two of those. Second one looked particularly easy with the header at the back post towards the keeper. Someone needs to be dealing with it (Mehmet? unless he was blocked).

Speaking of Mehmet, he had a brilliant save in the 2nd half from a deflected shot.

Cooper looked bright when he came on and took his goal well. He also took some excellent corners - would like to see more of him.

I think bringing on Chalmers made the difference for us in the second half. He's a scapegoat for a lot of fans but he was really good at taking the ball and giving the ball. Dropping into that hole between the centre halves helped us get a grip on the game.

It will be interesting to see if Young went off injured. He was hooked fairly quickly into the half after being easily beat in duels and balls over the top consecutively. Hope he is OK if he was injured.

McCann didn't have his best game but neither did Wotherspoon, Kane, etc. This is definitely a McPake problem - I don't see any patterns of play or even basic things like give and gos. It's really frustrating to watch.

McPake will need to answer why the team showed no effort for the first 70 mins. It was really dreadful stuff to watch.

On a side note, I didn't hear a peep out of the NW today. Made a lot of difference (negatively) to the vibe around the ground. If it was some sort of protest, I hope it doesn't last too long.

I'd like to see some of the penalty shouts again. There was a rugby tackle on Hamilton (?) in the first half that was dismissed, and a handball shout in the second half after a bit of a scramble.

Finally, Queens Park played some decent stuff at times in an otherwise poor game and obviously work on their corners a lot. Think they deserved the win overall.
