Surely its because he’s doing well again in another loan spell?

It was a fair punt by us given he was a Korean second division player but we seem to make decent cash off our fringe players these days.

That's kind of how transfers work mate.

We bought him for 1M, he's played well and proven his quality by improving the two teams he's been on loan at. Therefore his fee rises, he will still have 3 years on his contract in the summer, it's not like he's in his final year.
