WattersIsGod
The game nobody is talking about .... Cannot be confident after what we witnessed last week. I'm sure Alan Maybury would love to make lots of changes but his options will be limited. An already fairly thin squad is now looking stretched due to injuries. On the other hand....we were so bad last week that surely they can't be thwt awful two games in a row. Beepee67
Sometimes after a bad performance i say to myself I'm not travelling away next week to watch that pish...but i almost always relent by the time Friday comes around.. However today is the day that i don't have any inclination to travel...Soccer Saturday will be the source of the result today Unbelievably poor performance last week & post match interview was just as bad.... no positives could be taken from that & to try fool us that minutes for Milne was a positive is a real worry for the managers sanity If we can't do the basics in defending, simple passing, heart & desire then we are in trouble, it's going to be a long season, especially with no width in the team... Although he hasn't been great this season hopefully Crane is back at LB today & take Dall out of the situation he's not ready for. Pretty sure Hilson will still be injured & hopefully Milne has slept in or has run out of hair bands to make himself available... So who knows what to expect today Hopeful rather than confident is today's mindset C'mon the binos

Quentin Taranbino
The number of players in our first team squad isn't really the issue, we have 19 signed players. Add in development players, I think that should be more than enough for a league two squad. Are the quality of players signed up good enough? Wait and see for most of them. Have we had alot of injuries? Absolutely Have we signed too many youngsters as first team players? Maybe
unitedbino
As the scoreline would suggest, a lot more positives today. As suspected, going to one striker (Carrick today) suited us better, as did the role of impact sub late in the game for McKinley. Harkness and Ferguson are both quality. Sula had a great game. Obviously scored, but also dealt with everything that came his way. Still not a huge amount of creativity, especially in the first half, but enough to win the game. Carrick still not getting a huge amount of service, but that was better today.
WC Boggs
I'm relieved at that win today. I don't know what to make of this team? It's no joy to watch, yet it hasn't crashed to the foot of the league as anybody could be forgiven for fearing it would. No idea what lies ahead. It could get better, it could get worse? 3 points today and I'll take them with a smile.

Two very poor teams unfortunately Stranraer were poorer than Stirling Albion. 44 minutes for the first shot on target from either team and that came about from awful defending. Only bit of quality in the game was Browns finish from what looked a dubious free kick. The standard across the league is abysmal. Ten years ago you could go through just about every team and pick two or three players of real quality you’d take, be a very hard job to do similar now.
Blue1870
Agree with Matt. Awful game. Two very poor teams. Stirling got lucky that we were so bad. Night and day from the home game against East Fife. No wonder we are bottom.

You only have to beat the team in front of you or if you want entertainment try the theatre. 3 pts, looking forward to a home SC tie. I might just be tempted to have a roll on square sausage.

There was no-one listed as a trialist on the teamsheets. James Graham, Dale Hilson and Cameron McKinley came on for Stirling.
