Lola montez Posted Wednesday at 12:24 Share Posted Wednesday at 12:24 Tough one this, Goody has assembled a good group of players and appears to be getting a tune out of them. Need to win our home games and make up for the defeat in the cup Saints to win 2-1, expect McAlpine to save a O’Hara penalty
Granny Danger Posted Wednesday at 13:01 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:01 A United win would be in the best interests of Scottish football.
Sarto Mutiny Posted Wednesday at 13:07 Share Posted Wednesday at 13:07 I have a theory that Dundee United always win when I am out of the country, and I am in Bratislava. So let's see

Dundee Hibernian Posted Wednesday at 15:46 Share Posted Wednesday at 15:46 Clubs don't try to make it easy for fans to acquire tickets for games do they? It appears this one requires paper tickets and, if I'm going have to make a two hour round trip to get one prior to visiting Paisley. I've sat in the Paisley Main Stand before for games, but I'm sure an e-ticket was provided for that match a couple of seasons ago. I've decided to give this one a miss, can't be bothered with the hassle.
invergowrie arab Posted Wednesday at 16:41 Share Posted Wednesday at 16:41 Why am I having to go online to buy a ticket and then go to pick up a physical version of that ticket from Tannadice which it turns out contains a f**king QR code anyway. Aside from that what boozers in Paisley are good?
Granny Danger Posted Wednesday at 17:52 Share Posted Wednesday at 17:52 So. Will Goodwin stick to three at the back for this one (at least until we are a couple of goals down)? Will Miller Thomson get more than a cameo appearance? Will we get a 99th minute penalty which results in Graham and Moult having a punch up to decides who takes it? Time to fox the opposition Jim and go 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3.

They are both about a 20 minute walk from the stadium. If you’re no fussy there’s a Spoons outside Gilmour Street Station called The Last Post. The Club Bar round the corner is also a decent if unglamorous wee boozer. Sadly there are no pubs within a 15 minute walk of the stadium.
Twinkle Posted Wednesday at 18:50 Share Posted Wednesday at 18:50 Watched us pump this mob in the league cup but get the impression that the european game beforehand had a part to play in that so i think i would take a draw if offered tbh
Granny Danger
The lack of interest by both sets of supporters in this 6th v 5th clash is a bit disappointing.

Goodwin won't be reverting from a back three anytime soon, having the three CB's (sometimes 4 when Holt is playing) has led to us beig pretty solid at the back barring the second half of the Killie game. With Trapa out then I can see us going with 3-5-2 with VDS and Moult up front from the start.

Yeah we were defensively solid right up until we weren’t.
Wilbur
I expect the Tangerines to miss all 4 of their penalties again.
ZingaliMan
Goodwin is a St Mirren legend League cup 2013. No doubt about it for me anyway Robinson is streets ahead of Goodwin in so many ways. I don't know the team Goodwin has built so no predictions from me. f**k the old firm .

Clearly still reeling at the news Dobbies are closing 17 stores. Devastating blow to both fanbases.
