Not sure what to expect from this one. Should be a relatively straightforward Accies win but we do have history against Highland league teams.

I see Iain Vigurs and Mark Reynolds play for Banks but don't know any of the rest of their players. Only lost 4 games and sitting 3rd in the league means they will be no pushovers though.

Tomas Cerny being their keeper coach adds a bit of interest as well. A good day out and not too cold hopefully.

Spain park is a tight venue, with a synthetic pitch like NDP .

A small seated stand on one side, with 2 covered enclosures on the other (railway line side).

Not much behind either of the goals.

Nearest beverage stop is back up the hill near Coves ground, the "Wellington" and there's a pub called the "white cockade" in the nearby Torry area, across the main road.

Heading down to this myself as take in a few games at Spain park when the Dons are away.
Now a small stand behind one of the goals only holds about 50 people i would say. Best to go right round the enclosures railway side as DNG says as if you go into the main stand it’s freezing that side compared to the other.

From the Hamilton thread the supporters bus is booked into the Nig golf club. Decent venue a bit away from the ground. Cracking view across the harbour and beach from there and even better cheaper drink than the mentioned Wellington hotel. Sure they have by sport. Get a bit of food in there too.

Accies haven't bothered to have BOD watched - clearly didn't learn anything from Auchinleck.

Got the fear for this and if Ben Williamson starts ......

Heading up to Spain park in mid April for they're game against Forres, moorie.

Be good to see the new enclosure you've mentioned and looking forward to the nite out in the toun afterwards.

Was there back in late 2015 for a midweek Cove v Huntly match in the HL.

How things hav changed for both BoD and Cove.

Saw Accies a few weeks ago vs Livi. They should hav enough about them to take care of BoD,but any dip in performance and they could be in bother.

I've covered the cost of the trip today in the event we lose by placing £5 on Banks O'Dee at 15/2 early on this week.

BOD now best priced 11/2 this morning.

Yeah the new enclosure made a difference to attending.  Gives it more a better feel than the typical cage grounds you see round the lower leagues.

The Allan park days good times. I haven’t been up to cove since January this year not clued up to much on them apart from what reading on the social media fans page. I do think Aberdeen preforming well and one the directors moving on has effected them.
BOD been playing well. I thought they did look at bit shaky pre season and start of the season but seem to have came on a bit.

last time I seen Hamilton was when they played away to Montrose last season. Could tell then they had a bit more to them for league 1 unsure if been big changes to that squad now they are in the championship. Good bunch of fans they had that day speaking to them in the picture house and Albert’s pre match.

BOD seem to dig deep in cup matches so hoping for an entertaining afternoon

Game of two halves for Banks o Dee.

any other day Dee get that to extra time. See Rankin getting it hard at times from his own fans.
can’t believe he’s still there. Remember the game up at cove December 2022 when a bunch of Santas storming the dug out to have it out with him after the 3rd went in

Was just thinking about the other day. They mobbed the dugout. He gave as good as he got mind you.

Judging by the traffic coming up Wellington Road, Accies took a bigger away support than the so called mighty ICT at Cove? 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah they had a decent support with them. Two buses outside the ground.
Made plenty of noise too.
