Not sure about our last game in Slovenia...would hate for us to be needing to get something over there to qualify. Apart from that, seems alrite. Have to be looking for 6 out of 6 in the first 2 games.

Right, so we've not won the second leg of a double header under Berti Vogts, and we've now got to go to Moldova, Belarus, Norway and Slovenia for that second game. We're fecked.

I think the SFA were looking for two out of our last three games at home - instead we've got to travel to Norway and Slovenia.

We really need nine points from nine at the start of this group to set ourselves up with any chance at all. Just my opinion though

It always going to be tough, but those fixtures aint to good looking. We in all honesty need to pick up 13 points minimum from our first 5 games, with a really tough run in, and the possibilty of only getting three points out of a possilbe 12 in the last four

Not to confident to say the least, but i will still be along supporting the boys, home and at a number of away games.

I think italy at home is being played at the best possible time. the game is being played before the italian season has began, hopefully with a full hampden, we can use this to our advantage.

Would have prefered to finnished with belarus at home, but with the way the games are, i hope we will be going into the italy away game with 9 points. Would love to shock them after the italian coach saying that scotland will be well out of it by the time they play us at hampden

For away games, i think ill manage italy, slovenia and norway.

Dont like the 2 away games in the last 3. Especially going to Slovenia in the last game, as they are considered the next best team after Italy, so we should be battling with them to get the next spot. Ideally we should be looking at 13-15 points for first 6 games to set us up nicely for the rest. As long as we get a better start than the last one in the faroes........

I really believe we can qualify, last year drawing with the faroes really was a low point, but since then back to back wins over iceland, draw with germany and a brilliant home performance against Holland, we are starting to get a settled squad and have lost the diddies such as Scott Dobie and Derek McInnes :P The amount of talented youth coming through is very encouraging. McFadden, Fletcher, Webster, Pearson, Gallacher (the striker not goalie), Caldwell Brothers, Kerr, Canero, Hughes and Maloney to name a few! also at an even younger level than that, you have such players as Robbie Foy (Liverpool) and Andy Bagshaw (aberdeen) looking very talented players with a future aswell, i think the future of scottish football is very bright, and i believe we can qualify for 2006 and if not, come pretty close to doing so.
