realmadrid Posted February 10, 2004 Share Posted February 10, 2004 Scotland's Under 21 team will play at Motherwell, Perth and Cumbernauld this year, as the Scottish FA confirmed the venues for their forthcoming home matches. Rainer Bonhof's Under 21s start their preparations for the next UEFA Under 21 Championship with a home friendly against Hungary at Livingston next Wednesday, and then face Romania at Motherwell in March and Denmark away in April. They start their UEFA campaign at home to Slovenia in September at McDiarmid Park, and continue a month later against Norway at Broadwood Stadium. Admission to home matches will continue to be set at just £5 for adults and £2 for children. The fixture calendar is as follows: Wednesday, 18 February 2004 Scotland v Hungary City Stadium, Livingston, kick-off 5.00 pm Tuesday, 30 March Scotland v Romania Fir Park, Motherwell, kick-off 8.00 pm Tuesday, 27 April Denmark v Scotland Helsingor Stadium, Helsingor, kick-off 5.00 pm More friendly matches may be arranged at the end of the season, and also in August, before the competitive games begin: Tuesday, 7 September Scotland v Slovenia McDiarmid Park, Perth Friday, 8 October Scotland v Norway Broadwood Stadium, Cumbernauld The first 'new' Scotland Under 21 squad, for the Hungary match, will be announced by Rainer Bonhof on Thursday at noon, at the same time as Berti Vogts reveals the Scotland A squad to face Wales in Cardiff next week.
