Here in the Philippines, when a women gets married she takes the husband's name but her maiden name becomes her middle name. Children's middle name is the mother's maiden name. I took this at Malaga airport last week. 45 mins before the flight was due to leave and the plane hadn't even landed yet. Cattle. ETA. The guy in the blue and white stripy top near the front rocked up with the folk he was travelling with, deposited his bags at the front of the queue and then went and sat down. "There's one already opened" "But there's not enough in that for my porridge" "Well use what's left then open that one up" "No point is there?" *proceeds to open up a fresh bottle of milk to make her porridge I cannae get ma heid roon this wummin. Refuses, point blank, to use the office milk unless it's been unopened. This means the milk goes off quicker and there's always four or five half finished bottles kicking about by weeks end and if I forget to do the sniff test it's Russian roulette making a cuppa that I don't get the one that's went off. She fills the kettle right up to the top to make one cup of tea, always turns up 15 minutes late and takes an extra 15-30 minutes on her lunch break every day. Worst part is when I've got a quiet 10-15 minutes and I decide to watch a video or listen to a podcast or something and she sees me doing it she will, without fail, come over and strike up conversation about whatever boring as f**k pish she done the day before. "I was going to make a cake but I ran out of cake mix so I didn't make a cake and just made a fruit salad instead" f**k off hen. But she's a nice enough wummin and quite pleasant and friendly.
