As no-one reads any of the forums, I thought I'd post this here.

I can exclusively reveal that Berti Vogts is leaving after the next 2 friendlies to become manager of Panathinaikos.

I've doubled checked with my source and this is 100% genuine. ;)

You heard it here first. :D

Does your source know who's taking over???

Three cheers for the Greeks, hiphip......

Let's hope that a truly woeful period in Scottish National Football is coming to a close.

I read that on ScottishFitba.net last night. :P

I'd link to it, but SF.net is banned at work.

Actually, my brother posted it first on blackandwhitearmy.com yesterday morning. I just stole his story after checking to see if it was true or not!

If McBerti goes, GET STRACHAN IN!

He is a true Scotsman who know's how to get the best out of players and get them fired up, the sort of guy we need!

STRACHAN FOR SCOTLAND MANAGER! :bounce3:cheers

Sorry, but players can be as fired up as they like, still doesn't make any of them good enough to play international football. Its going to take years to get a good football team on the park, the sooner more youngsters emerge that play in competitive leagues that offer challenges and a chance to improve their skills, that sadly is not found in Scotland, we will have a poor footballing national team.

Its pathetic to hear that our players have no compassion, no "fire in their bellies" or any fight in them, so what, doesn't mean they can play football if they have fight about them.

The sooner the media stop believing that we are world beaters and should be beating teams like Demark and Romania, both of which have players in the best leagues in the world playing on a regular basis and competing in europe every year, is the sooner our footballing nation can build for the future.

Totally correct. Too many kids are great at Fifa2004, and those who actually play 'ape' the worst aspects of their heroes. Plus the SFA coaching courses are shit.

I'd stick wi Berti. Certainly don't want Walter Smith. He was ok at Rangers wi money but lookat what he done to Everton. He made them so negative. I couldn't stand that AGAIN. It'd be like going back to the days of Craig Brown. Playing with 8 defenders, 7 of whom were over 30!
