jmothecat
I've spent the past couple of days going on about how England are the best ODI team in the world right now to my Pakistani colleague. May have to avoid him for the rest of the week.
wellboy1991
I would suggest you do.Utterly destroyed today. Must admit to not expecting this in the slightest but Pakistan looked leagues and leagues above England today.
Fuctifano
I've got a ton more time for the England cricket team than any of their other national teams but it is amusing to see them built up in the media then utterly pumped at the first knockout stage.
topcat(The most tip top)
Pakistan in blowing hot and cold shock

Aye they are more often than not the underdogs n don't have the entitlement complex that the rugby or football ones have. Helps that the aussies are so prominent in cricket....they can make anyone look like the good guys
atfccfc
Off to watch Scotland V Zimbabwe tomorrow. Whats the deal with food and beer? Can I bring my own in? And if not is it particularly expensive at the Grange?

And if not is it particularly expensive at the Grange? Definitely take you own food, or nip out to the high street at the interval for food. Don't know the cost of drink.
Scorge
They won't let you take booze in but food is fine. Gutted I couldn't get tomorrow off but hopeful of making Saturday.

mjw
Speaking to the lad who runs our local shop and he's seriously thinking of parting with £600+ for a champions trophy final. If it is India who win today that price will probably shoot up again.
Bully Wee Villa
Scotland beat Zimbabwe to gain first (official) ODI win against a Test-playing nation. They beat Sri Lanka earlier this Summer but it wasn't classed as a full ODI.Impressive month from the Scots.[emoji122]

Flybhoy
Fantastic innings of 338 from Pakistan, not many expected that. India's strength is in their batting and they will need Virat Kohli and co to be on top of their game to have a chance of chasing this down. SKY commentary team of Atherton, Hussein and Key making a hilarious and awkward mess of prouncing the name Pakistan batsman Fakhar
Fuctifano
Didn't see this coming, well done to Pakistan, reminiscent of 1992, they were all but out at 7 down vs SL in the last group match then started playing out of their skin and haven't stopped since.
pandarilla
Guaranteed punch up in that dressing room now. Jadeja is a total p***k. He's got to sacrifice himself in that situation. Instead he runs out India's only chance of a come back.
die hard doonhamer
A 180 run win for Pakistan. That's an utter pasting!

Yeah very reminiscent of their world cup win in Australia where Imran Khan and his 'wounded tigers' beat England in the final after scraping out the group by the skin on their. A quite brilliant opening spell of bowling by Amir which all but clinched the win for Pakistan after about six overs of India's innings, you wonder how much he would have acheived and be revered had he not got that 3 year ban for his idiotic role in the spot fixing scandal in the series in England a few years ago, he will be forever tainted and primarily remembered for that.

Mark Connolly
Pakistan were fantastic, but I was surprised by how poor India were today. Interestingly, Pakistan and India were also playing each other at hockey today, and also in London, at the Olympic Park. The hiding was dished out by India in this case.
