Back in the early 90's they were probably the 2nd best African nation behind the Saffers, now they don't even appear at the qualifiers. They got to a world cup semi in 2003 albeit aided by a walkover when NZ refused to play in Kenya, they still knocked off Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka though. Aye. I'm just wondering why they have completely vanished off the scene since then. It can't be down to a total disintegration of talent, so I'm wondering if their association has been banned, they refuse to travel to quali tournaments or something. I had to search quite a bit to find where they stranded in the qualifying to get to this tournament. They finished 4th in the Challenge League, of which only the winners qualified for the World Cup Qualifying play-off, which was the stage before this tournament (where Scotland started their campaign). So from regular appearances at the world stage they've gone to not even getting close to making the qualifying tournament for the main qualifying tournament.
