Ian Bell's century was his third in three successive Ashes tests starting with Sydney 2011 (115) then Trent Bridge last week (109) and today's at Lords (109).

England 289-7 will need a good start tomorrow but with Australia having the new ball it will be interesting to see which team will be happy once England innings is over.

Going to end up pretty much where I expected.. around 350.

Probably 50 under par, but after the start yesterday morning England would have bitten your arm off for 350. Good score for the test match. Keeps the Aussies in it and makes all three results a possibility.

England will win again though.

Chris Rogers is a bog standard county player. What he's doing in international cricket I have no idea.

Still, Lex will be along shortly to hail a fantabulous start and point out the massive problems facing England.
