Had real issues with my back tyre (WTB Trail boss) getting pinch flats, had hee haw since converting. It is a Mountain bike but believe you get road conversions as well now. I think tubeless is overkill, especially now I'm considering a road bike for "proper" rides, while keeping my hybrid for commuting only. 1 hour ago, Unleash The Nade said: I’d recommend Gatorskins too, as they’re as good as you’ll get imo, but no tyres are 100% puncture free However they’re an absolute nightmare to get back on Which suggests they're a nightmare to put on in the first place...not good! Mind you, putting my current one back on yesterday (Specialized Nimbus) was no picnic. I guess it's just perseverance, and hoping they never have to come off again.

Boostin' Kev
You don't seem too content considering all that healthy exercise you do nade. Did someone cheeky motorist hit their horn tonight when you skipped a red light on the way home?

statts1976uk
Going to try this one at the LBS demo day a week on Saturday, quite fancy it but I would spec it with Ultegra Di2 and transfer my carbone cosmic wheels over to it. I know it’s sacrilege to not use Campagnolo on a Bianchi but I’ve just never taken to them.
Boostin' Kev
I like how nade saw my original post, tried to ignore it by making a sensible cycling related post and then couldn't take it any longer and cracked a few hours later.

Can anyone recommend some new ones? Puncture resistance is essential for my commuting route. Another vote for Gatorskins here.

Pedals are very much a subjective affair as there are different types of cleats to fit into the pedals, it’s a waste for manufacturers to fit them as they generally get binned if they are not the right ones. Saddles are usually generally higher on aero, TT and road bikes as it gives the most efficient position. I appreciate that you are trying to be funny but there are genuine reasons why bikes are set up like that.
Papad
Durano Plus are another good choice for puncture resistance.

Cracking bike I bought a Bianchi Intenso with Durace from LBS about 18 months ago and love it I added Mavic Kyserium wheels which are phenomenal for the price Good luck -
