Prior to that you would be correct though, I hadn't ridden since the autumn of 1971, when my mother forced my to cycle to school for emptying the biscuit tin. 1971 of course was the year Greepeace was founded and Disney World was opened. Until this afternoon 1971 was also the last time ST Johnstone won at Ibrox! GIRUY

Making up stories is fine, and praiseworthy if they're funny which they often are. Stalking individuals with red dots without replying is a bit weird though.

statts1976uk
Anyway, is anyone here on Bkool or Zwift? I think the missus has bought me a smart trainer for Christmas.

However, I know a fair few guys who have Zwift and they love it and swear by it for winter training .
ark loyal
I use Zwift for training over the winter. It's a total game changer for providing motivation to get on and stay on the turbo. Workout mode is great for getting some structure planned and the group rides and races are ideal to add something to focus on other than just pedalling away. If you don't normally train with a power meter then the fact that smart trainers add this element is really helpful too.
statts1976uk
Cheers for the input guys, I think it’ll be a good addition to winter training and with it being more interactive it’ll probably help a lot more. I don’t mind the usual turbo trainer but it can get a bit boring sometimes!

Unleash The Nade
Posting this for no other reason than to give my online stalker yet another chance to red dot me . It obviously gives him a great deal of pleasure , which to be honest must be a good thing when you lead such a sad and lonely existence. I look on it as a form of care in the community
Unleash The Nade
Brilliant day out on the mtb yesterday . Only did 25 miles but it felt like much more . Really getting into this off road stuff mainly because you don’t come across the inevitable c**t in a car .

Bold Rover
What do the P&B mechanics feel about replacement inner tubes? They vary enormously in price - does one get what he pays for, or are Halfords cheapos just as good? What about the slimy self-sealing jobs?

I got the cheapo ones from Wiggle and after about 6 months lying unused in my saddle bag I found they had split along the side. Fortunately I was at home otherwise it might have been a long walk home. Got the £5 ones next time and they seem ok so far.
