The Naitch
Part wins the match but it's all in vain, Barney goes through courtesy of leg difference.
Neilly
Part just walked off when he won and never shook Barney's hand. I don't know what that was all about John Part is usually one of the best professionals around. Maybe he will explain in the interview. Barney looked miffed as well.

The Naitch
Part picked up his darts and walked off the stage in double quick time, didn't even shake Barney's hand. He is one pissed off Canadian tonight. EDIT: Seems he wasn't entirely happy with the crowd - though did admit they weren't as bad as the crowd in his match against Hoenselaar. Quite a strange interview. Edited November 17, 2009 by The Naitch
northernscum
What a bunch of moaning faced fuckers these darts players are turning into
Cowden til i die
What was the craic with Part then? Ive just turned it on. Im normally a big fan of the big Canadian. This Dobromyslova lassie is a piece. Never thought id be watching darts and think one of the players is worth a ride.

RedWeb
Ach, pish - I've heard Jocky Wilson done it for you every time Serious question...is Jocky Wilson still alive ? Is he ever seen in public ? Does he still play darts or do any appearances ?
The Naitch
Serious question...is Jocky Wilson still alive ? Is he ever seen in public ? Does he still play darts or do any appearances ? He's still alive - he retired a few years ago and now just sits in his flat in Kirkaldy, only leaving the house to pick up his benefits.
Neilly
I'm pretty sure he is house bound as he doesn't keep well but I'm sure someone else would be able to confirm. She is going not bad here but I would still fancy Webby to win the match.
The Naitch
Webster wins it 5-2 and books his place in the Last 16. There are one or two real muppets in that crowd tonight, though - I'm surprised the PDC heavies haven't chucked them out already.
RedWeb
Webster wins it 5-2 and books his place in the Last 16. Anastasia played well in parts but too many poor visits. She's certainly a million times better than that Dutch growler who got creamed 5-0 by "The Artist". Neilly
She seems to drop a lot of darts way below the treble than her male competitors do. I don't know if that's to do with lack of muscle or what not but she needs to sort that in her game to compete better at this level.

Is there really any physical reason why a woman shouldn't be able to compete with the men ? The only thing which is probably holding Anastasia back is all the years she spent playing rotten women who she could beat with a 70 average. Not sure if it's already too late for her to make a major impact. She needs to do well to stand still.
The Naitch
Last match of the night coming up ... Colin Osborne vs Brian Woods. Osborne needs the win otherwise Colin Lloyd will nick his place in the Last 16.

She's only 25 ... could have 20 years ahead of her as a professional so plenty of time to improve her game.
RedWeb
As an aside how are the BDO lads getting on ? O'Shea is doing well but not totally sure about the others. I take it that c**t Adams is a no show from the BDO ?
DomDom
Brian Woods didn't actually play badly in the first two matches ! He came up against tough as f**k opposition.
The Naitch
As an aside how are the BDO lads getting on ? O'Shea is doing well but not totally sure about the others. I take it that c**t Adams is a no show from the BDO ? Yep, he declined his invitation. It's a shame, really, as I'm sure he would have got a better reception than Hankey did. He's odds on favourite to replace Olly Croft once he pops his clogs so he probably didn't want to ruin his chances of taking over. Of the nine BDO qualifiers (Waites, Whitlock, Hankey, O'Shea, Woods, Fitton, Webster, Dobromyslova, Hoenselaar), O'Shea has certainly had the most success. The others have had a mixed time of it. I'm sure that's the nine that qualified for this from BDO tournaments anyway. EDIT: Forgot about Fitton - Anderson is here thanks to his 2007 appearance at the Grand Slam.
