mid-table
Fair play to Wade, I wouldn't have congratulated him either. It's a World Championship semi-final. -
Davis Love III
There's a real buzz about this boy unlike nothing I've ever seen in darts. The social media is blowing up every time he's on TV. I've certainly never been this excited about watching a darts player. This match is anyone's btw, as I said last night Wade has got some set of stanes on him. He is a phenomenon. He could become the greatest thing to have ever hit the game. Incredible to watch, as you believe he is capable of absolutely anything. That is such a rare gift, and we're privileged to be able to witness it.
JamieStevenson
Wade has got nerves of steel, amazingly he is on course to level the match up. Excellent set this is from him.
The Naitch
After all that, we've got a level game. Wow.
Davis Love III
Wade has got nerves of steel. He certainly has that. Amazing competitor.
DomDom
I noticed that too, classless fud. He was also deliberately trying to slow MVG down earlier in the game. I think as far as not congratulating him goes, he was basically trying to not get involved in what was going on. And slowing the game down? As well he fucking should. Anything that helps him.
StewartyMac
And slowing the game down? As well he fucking should. Anything that helps him. Fair enough slowing your throw down, but deliberately taking a bit longer to retrieve the darts to put off the other guy just shows a complete lack of class.
meanmistermustard
You should congratulate our opponent for hitting the 9 darter whenever it happens regardless of the occasion. Credit for Wade for coming back and leveling, was getting destroyed at 3-1.
Neilly
That 6th set was superb from Wade. Gando could learn a thing or two about sticking at it rather than throwing the towel in.
Davis Love III
Love this tweet from Dean Winstanley: "For the record I'm not gutted for losing £7.500 . But on the good side 1k bet 2days ago for another 1-2 to be hit 8-1 always cover bases."

It's a World Championship semi-final. totally agree, Wade has to keep his own focus and concentration. Shaking hands and a cuddle is for after the games over

Just read that on my twitter feed - absolutely brilliant from Deano.
DomDom
You should congratulate our opponent for hitting the 9 darter whenever it happens regardless of the occasion. I don't think it should be some sort of obligation. Makes it meaningless.
The Naitch
I think that break of throw will be the last we see in this match, unless Wade can dig deep again.
DomDom
I think that break of throw will be the last we see in this match, unless Wade can dig deep again. Well, we know he can. So I guess it's up to MVG to make sure it doesn't matter how deep he digs. Like he did there at the end of that set.
meanmistermustard
I don't think it should be some sort of obligation. Makes it meaningless. Shouldnt be a rule as that would be pointless. Just feel it should be like it is in snooker where after the maximum they shake hands simply out of what has been done and then get on with it.
Desert Nomad
Winstanley has suddenly deleted that Tweet I notice.
DomDom
Just feel it should be like it is in snooker where after the maximum they shake hands simply out of what has been done and then get on with it. But that's doing it out of obligation. Which makes it meaningless. If the other guy wants to get on with it, then so be it.
DomDom
Winstanley has suddenly deleted that Tweet I notice. Might be a taboo with gambling on it or something. I don't see why, but there you are.
Neilly
Winstanley has suddenly deleted that Tweet I notice. I was thinking should Pro Darters really be publicly saying they are betting on the sport they are in? I know it's nothing dodgy he's done but probably best to keep it to himself.
