Jupiter Jazz
Waites could have strolled through his draw even if blindfolded. How on earth the winner of this mess gets to call themselves world champion is hilarious.
Fraser Fyvie
Jim Proudfoot: "the shouting from the crowd has affected both players" No Jim, it's affected Harms. O'Shea pinned the double straight away ya twat.

Really looking forward to the final now.
DomDom
I didn't think Harms really looked on the same level as O'Shea through that game. The final should be good stuff though.
F_T_Y
Oh well, two decent blokes in the final and fast throwers.Waites has been missing alot of doubles.Maybe O'shea will finally win it.
Neilly
Would be magic if O'Shea wins it top lad and his throw is one of my favourites in darts.
Poet of the Macabre
Rooting for O'Shea tomorrow night. C'mon Silverback!
DomDom
Tony O'Shea is an idiot for going to 16s on 80 with Waites on 64. Got what he deserved in that leg.

Aye, he's paid the price for that - Waites goes 1-0 up. Colin Murray mentioned before that since going to 13 sets every final has either been 7-5 or 7-6. Cue this one being a 7-3/7-4 contest.
DomDom
I get the feeling Waites will do just that. Too many slack darts and dodgy scoring from O'Shea and Waites has remained solid. EDIT: Plenty of time to turn that around of course! Edited January 13, 2013 by DomDom
Fuctifano
This is the first match I've seen of the tournament- couple of comments: I do like the BBC dart counter showing how many darts have been thrown in a leg. Surprised Sky don't do it although if it was showing 21 dart legs all the time they wouldn't be able to do their hype overload. The sound mic is odd. It's like they're trying to emphasise how hard the dart is going into the board. Crowd order is a world apart from the PDC world champs. Colin Murray tries too hard. But you knew that. As for the game, O'Shea hasn't got going yet at all, don't really care who wins but would like a 7-5 or 7-6.

Surprised Sky don't do it although if it was showing 21 dart legs all the time they wouldn't be able to do their hype overload. They could take the current three dart scores away from the right hand side though, a bit too much going on and it's kinda unnecccesary.
The Naitch
Waites has broken twice now and looking well on top of things. Edited January 13, 2013 by The Naitch
Christophe
Cheeky few bob on 7-2 Waites here, so it's starting to get to squeaky bum time. A set around now would be nice Tony.
DomDom
Tony O'Shea just simply doesn't look at the races at all. Shame. This could have been a good final.
meanmistermustard
Not much of a contest so far. O'Shea's scoring is leaving him at least 3 darts behind Waites when getting down to the doubles. Wanted O'Shea to win but its like he's ran out of oomph. 4-0 Waites and this could be a right embarrassment.
Ayrforce1
This final will be over soon o'shea looks like he is having a mare...
Christophe
Starting to get that way where it's uncomfortable even for Waites.
meanmistermustard
Very sad to see O'Shea unable to do anything and getting absolutely horsed up there. Could be a whitewash. :(
